There were also subtler problems involving balance, flexibility, and the distance between the stones.
If the necklace were manufactured exactly as drawn, it might look beautiful while resting inside a display case. Once worn, however, it would twist toward the heavier side and place uncomfortable pressure on the wearer's neck.
