As Weiwei walked toward the jewelry-design building, Lou hurried down the steps to meet her.
"You certainly know how to make an entrance."
"I only drove to school."
"You drove a car most people can only see at exhibitions."
"Should I leave it at home and take the bus?"
Lou looked at the Ferrari.
"No. If I had that car, I would drive it into the lecture hall."
Weiwei laughed.
Lou took the lunch box from her hand and examined it.
"What is this?"
"Aunt Wu packed lunch for me."
"You are already carrying a designer bag, and now you have a lunch box. Your image is becoming confusing."
"My image doesn't need to make sense to you."
They entered the building together.
The first-year jewelry-design students had been divided into three classes. Weiwei belonged to Class One, while Xinya was in Class Two.
Although the classes took most lectures separately, the opening lecture and departmental assessment would include every first-year student.
