"Why would you even come to me, throwing accusations, when we have several other minor realms?" Seraphina suddenly snapped, veering off the topic.
"You know as well as I do—those small realms don't have the guts. They don't have the resources, the power, or the balls to hold someone like Liam hostage," I said, my tone sharp.
"You mean to tell me that none of them have the nerve to detain The Doom?"
"Yes," I said without hesitation. "That's exactly what I'm telling you—and I didn't stutter."
Her eyes narrowed. "You mentioned something earlier... the Luminarch Order. The one composed entirely of wizards?"
I nodded as she moved toward the couch and sat down, letting out a slow, steady breath.
"Then answer this: why have we—those from every other realm—never heard of this so-called Order? Not once in a lifetime?"
