Chapter 152 - The revalation and the fight

Sigil and Daina were in an inn, and Daina was feeling sad. Flashbacks of Rei's fight with Sigil filled her mind; his attacks were so focused and purposeful. Even Sigil, who believed he had killed Rei, was still thinking about how strong he was. To clear his head, Sigil said, "I'm going out, okay?" Daina nodded, and he left.

Alone in the room, Daina saw a bird with a letter tied to its leg. "What's a bird doing here?" she wondered. "Could it be attracted by this token?" She took out the Revolutionaries' token, and the bird came closer. Daina took the letter and began to read it. It was a table of expenses, but it also had a note: "Rei, we are facing a crisis. Our rise seems to have attracted the attention of some higher organizations. Here is a list of the organizations. We want to ask if we should form an alliance with them or not. Even though I am a prince, I don't think I can stop their alliance if I pressure them." The letter also contained information about their armory and other details.

Daina was shocked. "I never thought that boy ran an organization with the prince," she thought. "But now that he's not here, what should I do? I don't think I can do anything, but the organization's name is the Revolutionary, so if I join it, it might help me progress." She sent the bird back and put the token away.

Sigil walked through the crowd, still pondering Rei and Daina's fate. He knew the life he was preparing Daina for was not a good one. He had thought Rei might be able to take on that responsibility, but now that he was dead, he wondered if he had done the right thing.

Meanwhile, Kaiser and his team, riding the Midgard, arrived at Crimson City. "Finally, we are here," Kaiser said. He stopped the Midgard and told Adreil, Hella, and Sentry to take a break. He was going to meet Lyla.

Kaiser and Tenko walked to a mansion. "This is where we can meet Lyla," he said, knocking on the door. A boy with a soft smile answered. "Hello, may I help you?" he asked.

"Yes, I want to meet Lyla," Kaiser said.

"Please follow me." The boy led Kaiser to a room and knocked.

"We are a little busy. Come back later," an old lady's voice replied from inside. But Kaiser opened the door. "We don't have time," he said. The room smelled of herbs, and they were clearly making medicine.

The old lady glared at them. "If you are trying to intimidate me, it won't work, boy." She threw a mixture of herbs at them. Tenko used his wind to throw them out the window, where they exploded into a poisonous gas.

"Wait, teacher, they are my friends!" Lyla said, stopping her work.

"Whatever it is, they must pay for destroying the sanctity of our herb creation," the old lady said. She took out more herbs, created an energy attack, and threw it at them. Kaiser and Tenko dodged it.

"Rei is in danger, Lyla," Kaiser said. Then he and Tenko jumped out of the window.

"You're not going anywhere!" the old lady yelled, throwing more herbs outside, which caused a poison gas explosion all over the mansion. Tenko howled and used a tornado to collect all the poisonous wind into a single area. But suddenly, both Tenko and Kaiser felt numb and dropped to the ground. "You weren't able to detect it, right? Time for your punishment," the old lady said with a smirk.

"You're forgetting something," Kaiser said.

"Oh, what?" she smirked again.

Suddenly, a rope tangled around Kaiser and Tenko's waists. The old lady was surprised as Lyla jumped out the window. The brush she was holding had turned into a multi-roped whip. Mid-jump, she said, "I'm sorry, Master. There is someone I have to save." She took Kaiser and Tenko and jumped over the wall.

"So, where should we run? My master is not someone who can just let us go," Lyla asked. Tenko pointed in a direction, and as Lyla dragged them, poison bombs started raining down.

Standing at the window, the old lady said, "I never thought of you like that, Lyla. For defying me, you must also be punished." She used several herbs and qi to create another poison bomb.

When they reached the Midgard, Adreil asked, "What's happening here?"

"My master is a poison master. We need to run!" Lyla said.

"Yeah, I've heard poison masters are very dangerous," Sentry said.

Hella agreed. "Poison masters are very dangerous."

"Adreil, give us cover," Kaiser ordered. "Sentry, start driving." Tenko and Kaiser were still paralyzed. Adreil went out and jumped from roof to roof. He saw men approaching in the poison. The poison was affecting him, but he didn't care. He charged at the men, knowing he could ignore the pain and the poison. The men were shocked. "He's not affected! Run!"

"You want to run? Think again," Adreil said. He used his sword to slash them, making a path for the Midgard. He made sure not to kill them, muttering, "It would be better to kill these trashes."

Tenko barked, telling Sentry to drive by the mansion.

"Wait, wouldn't that be dangerous?" Lyla asked. Tenko dismissed her concern and barked again, telling Hella to take a pill from a drawer. Hella went to the drawer and took out a pill.

The old lady watched them pass by her mansion. "Looks like these people have a death wish," she thought. She was about to use a very potent poison when Hella threw the pill at her. As the old lady watched the pill coming toward her, she thought, "What? A pill?" The pill exploded into a paralyzing gas, paralyzing everyone in the mansion, including the old lady.

Lyla was surprised. "A pill that paralyzes its opponent? Looks like there are some interesting things here."

"Now is the perfect chance, Adreil!" Sentry shouted.

"Sure, leave it to me," Adreil said. He injured all the men in front of the Midgard and kicked them out of the way. Once the path was clear, Sentry drove at full speed, and Adreil jumped inside. They sped away from Crimson City.
