Chapter 151 - Kaiser meets Tenko

Tenko walked through Nandaka, and everyone was shocked to see a beast there. A boy saw him and said, "What's a beast doing here? I'll help you all and kill it!" The boy used Sword Saint Style, 2nd Form, Verse 7, but Tenko used a whirlwind to send him flying. Tenko growled and continued on his way.

Watching the commotion, Kaiser, who was fighting with Adreil, stopped and muttered, "What is that?" He jumped mid-fight and headed toward the scene.

"Hey, how dare you run away from a fight!" Adreil shouted. Sentry and Hella, sensing something was wrong, followed Kaiser. Sentry used his sorcery and a wind bomb to keep up, while Hella and Adreil used their speed.

"What's going on, Kaiser? Why are you running?" Hella asked.

"Yeah, what's happening?" Sentry added.

"My friend might have come, but he's not the kind of person to cause this much commotion. Something is wrong," Kaiser explained. He saw Tenko, landed, and asked, "Tenko? Why are you here? Where is Rei?"

Seeing the helplessness and plea for help in Tenko's eyes, Kaiser knew what had happened. "Don't worry, Tenko, I will help you save Rei," he said.

Sentry, Hella, and Adreil landed. "What's going on?" Sentry asked.

"Guys, I have to go," Kaiser said.

"Tell us first what's happening," Sentry insisted.

"My friend Rei is in danger. I need to help him." Hella and Sentry's eyes widened, and they felt a sudden sense of sadness they couldn't shake off. As they watched Kaiser leave with Tenko, they unconsciously jumped to follow.

"Hey, where are you guys going?" Adreil shouted, following them.

"Kaiser, let us come! We will help Rei," Hella said.

"Yes, Kaiser, I want to help Rei too," Sentry added.

Adreil was annoyed. "What's with you guys following this person? He's Kaiser's friend, not ours."

Hella said coldly, "Then you can go away."

Sentry added, "If he's Kaiser's friend, he's my friend too. If you don't want to go, stay in Nandaka."

Adreil laughed. "You guys are nothing without me. I have to come." They landed in front of the gate and went through the mist.

"Yeah, yeah," Kaiser said. "But just remember, Rei is one of the strongest people, with both brains and brawns. If something has happened to Rei, then it means we are fighting a foe who is at least a Martial King." As they came out of the mist, Tenko shook his head.

"What? He wasn't a Martial King?" Kaiser asked.

"What can we get from a beast anyway?" Adreil scoffed.

"Don't worry. Tenko is more intelligent than you give him credit for," Kaiser said.

"Wait, is that the same thing we saw moving?" Adreil asked, pointing at the Midgard in the distance.

"Yes, it's the moving cart, the Midgard," Kaiser confirmed. Tenko went inside and clumsily wrote on a paper with his paws, which he then gave to Kaiser. Kaiser took the paper and read: "Rei was fighting a Martial King, who was a more formidable opponent than expected. Rei had to feign death to escape. He sustained a non-fatal blow, but then a Martial Master in a cloak came and used powders on them, making them unconscious. He then erased all of Rei's memories and kidnapped him."

"I see," Sentry said. "So that person took advantage of the situation. But where could he be?"

"He could be anywhere. How can we find him?" Hella asked.

"Don't worry, it's also written that Tenko suspects the man is from the principality," Kaiser said.

Adreil scoffed. "The lapdogs of the principality."

"Even though he's in the principality, it's still a big place," Sentry said.

"At least be happy that we got a clue," Hella said.

"Don't worry, with me here, you can rest. I will easily find him," Adreil said.

Kaiser shook his head. "You all can rest. If Rei is going somewhere, there are only two possibilities: either the place is going to spike in power, or it's going to fall. Sentry, Hella, clean this room. Adreil, you will fight any beast that approaches the Midgard. I will drive it, and we will give Tenko some time to rest."

"Looks like we are going to the principality then," Hella said.

"Wrong," Kaiser replied. "We are going to Crimson Town. We need to form a team before entering the principality."

"What's the need for a team when I am here?" Adreil said.

"I mean, the four of us are great, but we need more people if it comes to a group fight in multiple locations," Kaiser lied. The real reason he wanted to form a team was that he was afraid Rei might turn against them.

In another part of the world, an azure-haired girl with a brush stood on a cliff. Her master said, "Lyla, it's time for you to learn my secret herbal medicine technique."

"Sure," Lyla said.

Bret, walking through the Imperial halls, was met with approving gazes. He reached a large room and knocked. "May I come in?" he asked.

"Yes, come in," a voice replied. Bret opened the door and bowed to the general.

"Welcome, Bret. Come, sit on the chair," the general said. Bret sat down. "Among our new recruits, your performance in handling life-and-death situations is outstanding. You do it with minimum to no casualties, and your achievements are very impressive. I think you are suitable for this mission."

"What mission?" Bret asked.

The general took out a paper. Bret read it: "Classified Information - Mission Guest."

"This is a secret mission where you will have to go to the principality and assess the situation," the general said. "However, since this is a covert mission, we can't let Kisa and Lisa join you."

"Yes, sir," Bret said. "I will take this mission."

"Get ready then."

In the principality, Piers stood in front of the Black Devil Mansion. The gate was a big, black one with owls and bats on it, and two lions in the center. He went inside with his master.

Meanwhile, on the Midgard, Kaiser thought, "Rei, don't worry. I am coming to help you."
