*slam*
A boy aged 18 kneels on the cold marbled floor of the courtyard, tears welling up in his obsidian eyes, his silver hair which was in contrast to eyes hung between them.
"Brother. Please, this is the first time I have come to you. Please grant me a re-trial."
The boy begged as he tilted his head while still kneeling to look in his brother's eyes.
"You... I - I can't, I'm sorry Kol. This is the clan leaders decision. Also, Lena hasn't been informed, but don't worry I'll be the one to tell her."
Kol stared into his brother's eyes, tears were also welling up in them. All of sudden the boy, Kol started laughing, his eyes began to cloud as his tears fell onto the polished marble flooring.
*Drip* *Drip* *Drip*
... A couple minutes later...
*Drip*
"Father... Was I that untalented... So much so that you felt the need to blame my own mothers murder onto me to get rid of... Me."
*Crack*
The sound of something cracking, not audibly but mentally sounded within the mind of Kol. A sense of loss rippled throughout the great temporal clan.
"Kol temporal, please. Don't stain our family with your existence any longer."
'you say these hurtful words and yet...
Why do you have that look on your face?'
*Thud, Thud, Thud*
The loud thudding of boots was heard by the brothers and men in loosely fitting but matching outfits appeared. The only person that stood out distinctly was a young man in the middle wearing a white suit.
"Young sir Kol, your father, the current lord of this world's river of time, has decided to cast you out as you have stained this clan's bloodline for long enough."
The old yet dignified man in white held a solemn look on his face.
"Even you, sir elder Gatekeeper?"
Kol looked into the elder's eyes, his own eyes betraying his emotions as he did so.
'My father really went as far as to ignore his protests too then...'
"I'm sorry to say this might be our last time meeting, young master Kol."
The elder continued,
"The lord has decreed that your soul will be sent into the river of reincarnation, eternally to reincarnate until your weak soul eventually crumbles."
'doesn't that means that I might have a chance to come back? I know some ascenders arise from the lower realms every so often.'
The elder didn't miss the hope within Kol's eyes, and yet, the sadness within the elder's eyes never once relented.
"You will be unable to cross the starry sky that provides access to our secluded realm nor will you be able to take the ascension channel to it."
'No... You wouldn't go that far, would you farther?'
Just as he had that thought, Kol's vision began to blur as his surrounding's filled with strange particles.
[Severed fate detected.]
'What?'
[Strange energy detected.]

[Displaying information.]
[Reincarnation Qi
The weakest energy from within the river of reincarnation, capable of reincarnating weak mortals.]
[Reincarnation Core
A unique treasure, capable of trapping even the strongest beings in a inevitable cycle of reincarnation.
Tip from past victim: 'Despair for you shall know true pain until your soul relents in sweet oblivion.']
'Reincarnation Qi? reincarnation Core? No, his can't be...'
As the particles grew thicker, so did Kol's despair.
As despair threatened to overwhelm him, he caught sight of two figures slowly entering the courtyard he was within, nearing the crowd that surrounded him from most directions.
'brother Kai... Lena...'
The figures of his brother and Lena grew closer and closer until he could finally hear their seemingly synchronous voices.
"Kol!"
Lena then began to scold those in his surroundings,
"Why did you let his happen, just as I left for a week, I return to this? What's happening to him, if he's injured, just wait until my farther and grand-father hear about this."
The elder then looked at her, seemingly shaken,
"Princess Lena, please have mercy, this is lord Temporal's decree."
"What do you mean, why w... Wait, what's happening to Kol? Tell me!"
Lena now seemed even more frantic then she did a second ago, seemingly bordering on the verge of insanity.
"Don't worry about me Lena, it's..."
Lena cut him off,
"Shut up!"
She turned to Kai,
"Finish what you were telling me, what's happening to my love?"
'love? Did she say that? About me?'
As Kol stood within a fog of strange particles that were growing everywhere, stemming from the unknown, Kai began to answer Lena as tears flowed down his face.
"He, he is going somewhere... Forever."
Kai refrained from saying much, as his voice grew to nothing much more than a mumble which Kol himself wouldn't be able to hear, even though he is closest to him, if he hadn't already suspected what he would say and had been waiting for it.
[Forced fusion with core of reincarnation successful, reincarnation will begin in 2 minutes.]
"2... Minutes? That's all? Ha, ha ha... Hahaha"
Kol's already fragile state of mind underwent a strange change, he laughed in the face of the inevitable, the cracks which were on his mental state began to heal.

Kol turned towards the large spire that reached the sky of their planet,
"Father... No. Lord of Time, I curse you to a similar fate, karma will come for you!"
As he finished his cursing of his former father, a pressure descended from the spire, the lord had come,
"You! You think a wretched being like you deserves to be a member of this clan."
He continued,
"We pitied you and left you be even after you killed your mother during childbirth. Yet you dared curse at me?"
Lord Temporal was truly enraged upon the ant before his eyes,
"Suffer, infact, let me grace you with an experience of time..."
Rena tried to protest at the lord's actions, yet, Kai stopped her from courting death.
The Lord raised his index finger at Kol and suddenly, time appeared and felt like it had come to a stand still, at least to him.
He felt as his own vitality slowly drifted out of his body as he began to rapidly age.
This sensation continued for an unreasonable amount of time as Kol turned to look down at his hands, he couldn't feel anything yet his hands appeared mummified.
His vision turned dark as his now aged body vanished into dust, Lena's cries echoed in his dissipating ears.
