Chapter 91 - COMMEMORATION PARTY - 01

...

"Wait... Not again... AAAAAAAAAAH!"

Nayun's shrill scream echoed like sharp thunder, cutting through the sky, only to be lost, swallowed up by the clouds that passed swiftly around them.

In the midst of the controlled chaos, a boy and a girl flew side by side, their fingers intertwined tightly, as if that were the last thread holding them together in the world.

The wind pulled back their hair, and the girl's eyes watered, whether from fear, adrenaline or simply the cold air on her face.

"Ahaha! You're very funny now, Nayun."

Theo said between laughs, his eyes shining as if it were the most precious scene in the world.

She snorted in response, still trying to keep her composure after the scare, but there was a slight smile on her face, albeit a reluctant one.

When at last the city and the skyscrapers disappeared behind their backs, Theo guided his magic gently downwards, plunging them both into the vast blue infinity that stretched out before them.

Below, the Yellow Sea opened up like a living tapestry, calm waters that reflected the sky like a liquid mirror, stretching as far as the eye could see. 30,000 miles away from noisy Seoul, there was nothing else there. No sound of cars, buildings or crowds. Just the wind, the sky and the sea.

'That was for turning me into a test dummy.'

Theo sweated as he remembered what had happened a few minutes ago when he had agreed to try on all the clothes his girlfriend had recommended.

After they had both finished their ice cream, Nayun accompanied Theo to the "Shinsegae Department Store", considered one of the largest department stores in the world, to buy the clothes he would wear to the event the Chae family had organized for his brother's return to the world.

It was a big event, full of journalists, guild representatives, investors, politicians, and members of prestigious families, an ideal stage to reaffirm the Chae's influence. Naturally, as Nayun's boyfriend, Theo would also be in the spotlight.

'It was my mistake... If I hadn't asked her to recommend a place, none of this would have happened.'

Theo lamented deeply, his expression slightly downcast as he flew with Nayun just a few centimeters from the seawater. He really had no idea that women could be so... dangerously enthusiastic.

Especially her.

The memory of being dragged from section to section, trying on outfit after outfit while Nayun made comments with a mischievous glint in her eye, still haunted him.

Dress shirts, slim fit suits, imported shoes, even ties in shades he didn't even know existed, all passed through his body as if he were a shop window dummy, while she analyzed every detail with the concentration of a general planning a war.

Then, in revenge, after they had both had dinner and Nayun had finally let her guard down, Theo grabbed her hand, and in the next instant...

He teleported with her. When Nayun realized what was happening, they were already hundreds of meters high, floating above the clouds.

Before she could even scream, Theo cast another spell, a complex one that involved a mana shield to protect her from the thin air, atmospheric pressure and G-force. A magical bubble gently enveloped her, allowing her to breathe and move freely as if they were on dry land.

Then, with a big smile on his lips, Theo leaned his body forward, and with a thought, "boom", he broke through the sound barrier like a magical arrow shot through the sky.

At 1000 km/h, with Nayun in tow.

Even protected by Theo's spell, which kept her body safe from the atmospheric pressure, the biting cold of the heights and the G-force that would threaten to make any normal person faint, Nayun couldn't help the dread that gripped her.

Flying... fine. She had done it before, when Theo himself took her beyond the atmosphere.

But that? That wasn't flying. That was an attack on sanity.

Of course, this punishment ended quickly, after all, he didn't want to traumatize his girlfriend. So after teaching her a little lesson, he went on to enjoy flying with Nayun.

That's why, a few moments ago, when he increased speed again to reach the Yellow Sea, she screamed in fright.

"You really want to kill me with your heart, huh? I thought you were going to do that again, you idiot."

"Relax. It was fun, wasn't it?"

Nayun turned her face towards him without saying anything to his question, as with her free hand, she took some seawater and threw it at him.

"Here... This is for you to learn."

She splashed the water, wetting Theo's face.

He didn't say anything, he preferred to show it in action. With his free hand, he did the same as her, took some water and threw it.

He didn't say anything, he preferred to show it in action. With his free hand, he did the same as her, took some water and threw it.

Nayun blinked in surprise as the cold water splashed on her face. A second of silence passed between them, and then a light laugh escaped her lips, as if all the previous tension had evaporated along with the drops running down her cheek.

"You dared attack me?"

She arched an eyebrow, feigning indignation.

"Theo, you just declared war."

Nayun let out a chuckle and, before he could react, she released the hand that was entwined with his, plunged both into the water and threw a new wave over him, stronger this time.

Theo's smile widened, and in one agile movement, he used his magic to create a floating sphere of salt water, positioned it above her head, and released it, which, when it hit Nayun, made her completely wet.

"Ah!"

She gasped, feeling a little cold.

"Theo! This is unfair."

Nayun complained, running her hand over her soaked face.

"In a fight, anything goes..."

Theo replied with a shrug.

He approached her and pulled her into his arms.

"Shall we go back?"

It was almost time to go.

"Mm!"

Nayun nodded.

Even though she was scared, she had already had a lot of fun flying with Theo through the sky. At first she was quite scared, but after the speed slowed down, she could finally enjoy it.

Theo used his spell, appearing directly in the bathroom of his dormitory.

"Let's take a shower, before you get the flu."

Still trapped in his arms, Nayun stared at him without saying a word.

"..."

It was his fault for getting her wet like that, so if she gets sick, it'll be his fault too.

With a simple movement from Theo, Nayun's clothes disappeared, leaving her completely naked.

Her face flushed with a little embarrassment, but nothing more than that.

"How long are you going to keep groping me?"

Theo's hands were on her buttocks, squeezing continuously.

"Oh! Sorry... It just feels wonderful."

"Tap!"

She slapped one of his hands as he approached her back door and walked over to the bathtub, turning on the damper.

Hot water began to fall, gradually filling the tub.

"Come on! Let me scrub your back."

Hearing that request, Theo also quickly removed every piece of his clothing, leaving him just like Nayun.

If Nayun wanted to "scrub" him, he would gladly accept.

He just didn't know how she would do it, whether it would be with her body or with a dowel. Anyway, being the cultured man that he was, Theo hoped it would be the first option.
