"My Irene? Why do you ask all of a sudden? Is there an issue?"
Hazel had a confused look on her face.
Logan took a deep breath before explaining.
"I had a dream. In the dream, I saw a little girl who looked so much like your great-granddaughter, so I asked her what her name was. But she told me her name was Layla."
"The little girl I saw is my mate," he added, waiting for Hazel's reply.
"Your mate? You have a mate? This is great news!" Hazel squealed in excitement.
"So where is she?"
"She currently lives among the humans. But that's all I know."
As soon as Hazel told him where his mate was, Logan disappeared.
He had stayed in the human world for about six months according to their time frame, but he still hadn't found his mate. He couldn't sense her properly, and she was proving difficult to locate.
Then, one day, he sensed her.
His men also notified him that they had sensed a powerful aura.
Logan was surprised.
