Logan walked up to Layla and took her hands in his while his eyes scanned her thoroughly.
She could feel the heat creeping into her cheeks. His gaze on her was so intense that she wished the floor would split open so she could jump into it.
"You are beautiful, mate," he murmured in her ear.
His breath was hot against her ear, and she could no longer control the way she was blushing.
'Gracious God, help me.'
"Thank you."
Her voice was barely audible.
The music was slow, and she could see all the people present. Every eye was on her.
"Let me introduce you all to the new mistress of this mansion. Miss Layla, my mate. Henceforth, you must all follow her commands, for I will not condone any intolerable act from anyone."
He said it as soon as they stepped onto the stage.
'Oh my God. He actually sounds sweet... and terrifying at the same time.'
"You all know how long I waited to find my mate. Anyone who disrespects her or disobeys her commands will answer directly to me."
