Even after all this wealth, you're still this money-centric," Grace said as she laughed.
"Naturally, I have to ensure that you receive the very best life possible," Leon replied with a smile.
For now, he was just a millionaire. His goal was to reach the top, and he had already begun to set the framework for that.
First was opening a publishing company, but his perfectionism didn't allow him to do it haphazardly. With his current wealth, that was very easy to accomplish. However, a new behavior from his newly gained intellect was perfectionism. If he wanted to enter this business, then it had to be perfect.
For the content he wanted to release—like Warhammer or Halo—the fact that his former self kept emphasizing that they were games meant that, as games, they were much more interesting.
So the most sensible route would be to open a gaming company first and develop games following a storyline that would be as entertaining as possible—or even better, allow the players to develop their own storylines.
Any game, as long as it was entertaining enough, was bound to attract a lot of adopters. However, that would also make the game only available to a niche audience.
Yet, considering his abilities, the comics would work even better at bringing in more readers, which meant more money as well as a loyal customer base.
"I'm already living my best life," Grace replied, and a bright smile bloomed on Leon's face before he received a kiss on his cheek.
The plane traveled for a few more hours before it finally landed, and the group stepped out.
To support him, Winston had gotten the entire family to travel with him but had forced Leon to provide the transport—hence the private jet sitting behind them. He may not even be within the top 100 richest people in Boston, let alone America, but he could comfortably afford it.
It took two months' pay… money he rarely used in the first place.
As soon as they arrived, a group of cars picked them up. This part was Winston's doing—after all, Leon had no connections in Switzerland.
"Okay, no… no, you're coming with me," Adrianna suddenly said as she pulled Grace away from the car.
"What?! No, I didn't do anything! Let me be!" Grace shouted as she tried to free herself from her sister's grasp.
Leon stood and watched as they eventually got into a different car and drove off. Feeling a heavy stare, he turned to the source and, sure enough, saw Christian staring at him.
"You can join me if you want. The car may not be as high-end as your father's, but it's got some cool features," Leon said as he gestured toward the door.
"I still wonder what she sees in you," Christian said as he got in.
Following behind him, Leon entered as well. This left only the last car, which Winston and his wife, Hazel, took.
After a few minutes' drive through the scenic roads of Switzerland, they finally arrived in front of the hotel.
Leon got off as they all continued their journey. Apparently, Winston had a house here, which Leon wasn't allowed entry to because Winston turned out to be a very stingy human being.
Laughing it off, Leon went into the hotel as a concierge led him to his reserved room.
As soon as he got in, Leon quickly freshened up before bringing out his laptop to continue his learning process.
Just because he had gained a bit of fame in the scientific community didn't mean he had become a master.
