*Rowan's POV*
"Who do you think it is?" Hariko asked as her heat moved slightly, her ears are really becoming a bit of a problem "I have no idea Hariko, for all we know? it could be a fan" I could see Hariko shake her head in disappoint from the corner of my eye but a small smile crept on her lips "Sometimes I really question your intelligence Rowan, besides will you really allow just any stranger to meet with me?" I give her a confused glance, raising my eyebrow ever so slightly "Ye? why not?" She rolled her eyes as she pouted at me "Talk about chivalry... but it seems you really lack it, except in the bedroom that's where you get it naturally" "...MOVING ON...".
Someday I will lose my mind to Hariko's teasing, it's getting annoying... "Come on, I'm telling true facts here! want me to continue?" she gives me a smug smile and I remained silent to ignore her, if I can't stop her to tease me then I'll just ignore her until she's sick of it "Let's see.. you remember the last night before our trip to the beach right? you fell asleep on the couch while I was next to you then sudd-" "If you want to keep that precious tail of your you better shut the hell up" I interrupt her since she's starting to get on my nerves "You really think I'm scared of you Rowan?~ your heart wouldn't allow you to even touch me~" I tried to grab her tail but she swats my hand away, her smugness is increasing by the second and I do not like it...
It's been quite some time since I pulled Hariko's tail and since then she didn't even dare to speak anymore, but now she fights back? this woman is evolving... she just walks quietly by my side and I can't even hear her breathing.. is she plotting the unthinkable? "What's the matter little Rowan? afraid the hunter is turning into pray?~" she pressed her body into my side, getting a hold into my arm "Don't worry I'll make sure it's painless~" "Alright cut it out woman you're scary..." she lets out a giggle as she pulls away, looking ahead of our path "No more tail tugging from now on?" "Yes... I promise".
*Time skip*
By now we arrived at the hotel and we were on our way to Larisa's room, Hariko was quite sleepy totally not due to swimming and me throwing her across the sea must've drained her energy "Hey Rowan? after this can we go eat something? stomach demands food" "You always want food.. at this rate you'll get fat" ...ah yes.. now I'm gonna experience near death, calling a girl fat has chaotic consequences "Do I look fat to you? look at me! I'm a skinny fox!" "Alright we'll get you food, you better like it" Hariko's already beaming with happiness as she was deep in thought, just please have mercy on my wallet "I'm thinking lasagna... what do you say Rowan?" "Yeah that seems like a good choice... first let's see who wants to speak with you then we settle for some italian dish".
I open and hold the door for Hariko and she smiles at me before entering the room, I expect from them some kind of reward.. I ain't doing this for charity after all. Once I closed the door behind me there stood Larisa with a serious expression on her face "Rowan, I don't really know how to tell you this but a woman is looking for your girlfriend... she spoke something about kidnapping as well" silence fell upon the room as Larisa's words sink in for a moment, I was both weary of confused... who the hell is this woman? is she somehow... related to Hariko thus why mentioning kidnapping? after all I found her half dead in the forest...
I look over at Hariko who was currently being silent, if I were to guess she's just as confused as I am "Is there something you want to admit Rowan? or is this all just a big prank?" "Larisa are you seriously going to believe a random stranger over me?" her eyes continued to narrow me down as Hariko still remains silent. Just when things are about to escalate into a full blown confrontation a soft knock interrupts us all. Larisa glanced at the door then back at me before walking towards it, giving me just enough time to give Hariko a second glance... but she just looks into my eyes, shrugging her shoulders... yep, just as confused as I am.
When Larisa opened the door a tall lady sits in the frame, if I were to guess I'd say she's 6'1... she's not too far behind me which is troubling to say the least. She had a slender figure with long purple curls that reach her chest... bright purple eyes and a bright smile on her lips, oddly she was wearing a red kimono which confused all of us. Then her voice came out, a soft and delicate tone filling the room "Apologies for my daring intrusion... but I believe the guest of honor has come back from her trip".
Larisa clearly wanted to say something but the lady walks into the room, she shoots me a glance and I felt my hair on the back of my neck standing up... something about her purple eyes are unsettling... they're staring into my own so intently, so... persistently, as if she's judging me. However she didn't say anything to me as her eyes locked with Hariko which by this point was getting unnerved "Hello my dear, I would like to have a word with you if it's possible?" Hariko glanced at my direction for any sort of guidance I did not have to offer.
"Um... sure..." Hariko hesitantly replied as the woman's smile accentuated a little bit, nodding her head "Thank you dear, I promise it won't be too long. I would like to speak to you in private if possible" "...Private? ma'am I don't even know who you are..." The woman gestured towards the door before glancing at me once more "I know, but I promise I have no ill intentions, please follow me." With no other choice Hariko followed the woman from behind, leaving both Larisa and I confused as we just stared at each other. Just when Hariko and the lady walked out the room I heard the lady speaking faintly "After all my dear, the time has arrived" I couldn't help but frown as I wanted to walk after the two but Larisa pulled me back "Leave them, I wouldn't mess with that woman if I were you" with no other choice I sit on the edge of the bed, sighing to myself... who the hell is that woman...
