The voice belonged to none other than Frank; in turn, Mona and Layla had to spill the beans. After finding out, Frank sighed and thanked Mona immensely. He let them know how Anna would often share broken memories of her mother with him.
Unfortunately, she lost her at a very young age and could barely remember Mona a.k.a. Lilliana's face. Mona's eyes watered, and Layla hugged her to provide some support. They managed to turn down her decision of not letting Anna know yet because there wasn't any point in delaying the truth.
"She will be so happy…" Layla squeezed Mona's hand on their way back to the mansion. Knocking on the door, Layla entered fast to be greeted by Anna with a cheerful smile. She was breastfeeding her three-month-old baby boy.
"Is everything alright?" Anna asked, adjusting her dress and noticing Mona along with Frank accompanying Layla. Mona hesitated, something she never did being a samurai, and that caught Anna's attention.
