Chantelle thought their small act was amusing. The two had planned to run into Daniel to test him, but after realizing he wasn't easy to handle, they decided to work together and turn their attention to her instead.
Even if her presence wasn't as intimidating as Daniel's, she didn't seem like someone who'd be easy to fool, did she?
"Miss, I beg you, please save them! They're just regular college students. If those men ruin their lives, they'll be completely destroyed!" the woman pleaded, pressing her chest forward toward Daniel while sneaking glances at him from the corner of her eyes.
Chantelle leaned against the wall with a blank face. She wasn't worried they'd try to come near her because Daniel stood in front of her, blocking their way.
Her eyes seemed to say she'd just stand there and silently watch them put on their little act.
When the two women realized she wasn't taking the bait, their attitude suddenly changed.
