Chantelle tilted her head and gave Daniel a puzzled look. Daniel sighed softly and went back to cutting the steak. Each time he sliced a piece, he fed it to her.
"I can't eat anymore," Chantelle said, holding her stomach.
But Daniel kept feeding her, acting like a stubborn child.
Chantelle then turned the fork in his hand toward his mouth, but he refused to open it.
"Could you please tell me what you want, Mr. Wilson?" she asked.
What a childish stunt! Was this really how the Demon King of Easthan should act?
"Will you give it to me if I tell you?" Daniel asked, one brow raised.
Chantelle's heart skipped a beat. She forced herself to stay calm and said, "It's up to you whether you tell me or not. I'm leaving."
The wind lifted her skirt slightly, brushing against Daniel's leg. He caught her wrist and pulled her into his arms. His voice was low and rough as he whispered beside her ear, "Is it delicious?"
