"Exactly. How long has it been since your last mistake? And now you've messed up again? Do you really think your father will protect you and that I won't punish you?" Chantelle said, giving Daniel a sharp glare.
Daniel, who somehow got dragged into the situation, coughed awkwardly and turned his head away.
"Go now! Find a spot and fish by yourself. Stay away from your Uncle Philip and the others. If I catch you cheating, I'll double your punishment!"
Kane grabbed a bucket and ran to the other side of the deck as soon as Chantelle finished speaking. Railer greeted Chantelle, then said he wanted to be punished with Kane before running after him.
The two boys sat together in front of their fishing rods, staring at each other. Kane tried to start a conversation, but Railer told him that talking would scare the fish away, so he refused to speak. The silence bored Kane to death.
He was just about to cause some trouble when Chantelle looked over, and he immediately stopped.
