Ella spent some more time with her father before returning to her room.
Alexander had just finished a call and was now working on his tablet. He looked up when she walked in and smiled. "I was about to come get you," he told her.
"Oh, why?" Ella asked as she walked over and sat beside him.
"I missed you." He winked at her before returning his attention to the proposal on his screen.
"Cute," Ella grinned.
"Only with you." Alexander smiled. "About Rocco's, they should call soon to confirm that they're willing to hold the meeting virtually," He told her.
"Alex." Ella gave him a pointed look.
"I didn't interfere. Not fully." He shrugged. "They've been wanting to work on one of our projects, and well, the timing seemed convenient."
"And the whole company will be working on it?" Ella raised a brow.
"No." Alexander set the tablet down beside him and turned to face her. "I might have told them to either reschedule the meeting or agree to a virtual meeting."
