Sera's mood continued to improve over the following days. Cedrick was brought to his quarters and has yet to regain his consciousness after she fed him the pill. Once his entire body recovered from his injuries and he awoke, Sera could start her plan to send him to the church as a traitor who would betray her. Although she suspected that it might take several months, she refused and forbade everyone from giving him a healing potion or any kind that could lessen his pain.
Good news had just arrived at the de Lys estate that morning. Sera was summoned to the palace along with her father.
The case against her was dismissed, although there was some inconvenience she and the de Lys family would pay. First, Sera would be banned from stepping within the capital for two years. She was also forbidden to take a step into any temple of the church of Solmora. This cut her off from public religious life and sacraments, although she did not care about it.
