When Felix tossed the Dagger of Time into his suitcase. He felt it was time to leave as a light pulse of magic happened that sent his danger sense into overdrive. Clearly whatever this magic pulse did, it was extremely dangerous to him and his two friends.
"Time to leave." Felix said in a hurry.
"What happened?" John asked as he looked around a bit.
A loud roar soon shook the cave and the ground. Sand fell from the ceiling while the three tried to keep their balance. Then as if a giant creature was beginning to walk, the ground continued to shake as if something very large and heavy took very slow but even steps.
"Never mind." John said.
"Any guesses what it is?" Angel asked.
"Don't know and don't want to either." Felix said.
"I don't believe you." Angel countered.
"Fine, I am a bit curious." Felix felt like a child who was caught.
Pulling out a mirror, Felix tapped his finger on it as he used a form of divination on it. There the mirror view shifted as it revealed a massive, truly massive sand creature. It didn't appear to have a solid form as if the body was made of a sand storm. Yet, with each step it took, the ground shook heavily.
"Well, my curiosity is stratified. Time to leave." Felix said.
"How?" John asked. "Since we got here, there hasn't been anything like an exit around us."
"We are magical. If there is no door or window to slip through, we simply make one ourselves." Felix smiled.
Then under their amazed look, he simply moved his wand in a rectangle and a door appeared. As it swung open, the land outside of the island appeared before them. The issue though is the door shrinking.
"Hurry." Felix said.
John nodded as he stepped through followed by Angel. Felix felt really tempted to play with the door to create a situation where she got stuck due to her round butt. However, the shaking continued to become stronger telling him he didn't have time.
'I guess I will have to find another time for the 'Help, I'm stuck' situation.' Felix sighed.
So running through the rapidly closing door, Felix barely made it through before it crumbled away. Much like he thought as he looked at his watch, time didn't move despite them spending days within that space.
"That was exciting." Felix grinned.
"Maybe at the end. It was mostly walking through the sand." Angel rolled her eyes. "So, what is the next treasure? I want to take the lead in this one."
"If you are taking the lead, then you have to decide." John shrugged.
"Pick one." Felix handed over the notebook.
Angel nodded as she began to flip through it searching. While she flipped through the notebook, Felix and John found a rock to sit on. In truth they had no idea where they were besides a road and mountains. They didn't find any indicator.
"So I don't know if you heard, but Severus Snape got thrown in Azkaban a few months ago." John said as if trying to find a topic to talk about.
"What did he do?" Felix looked towards the cloudless sky.
He could remember trying to help the bitter teenager, but after realizing he didn't want it. Felix didn't pay much more attention to him and last he heard, he opened a small potion and material shop. It wasn't anything fancy, but it did sell higher level potions that Felix didn't sell.
It wasn't so much Felix couldn't set up a potion chain to automatically brew potions for advance potions. The reason he didn't was to give potion masters the ability to survive and sell them instead. Otherwise, due to his automatic chains, he might cut off the future of potion masters and no new potions could be made.
"He tried to slip a love potion to Lily." John said. "He also created an improved devotion potion too."
Felix felt like Severus was hopeless. "He uses his talents in a very strange way."
John just nodded to these words. So to change the strange topic, John brought up a sore spot for Felix.
"How is your flying island coming along?" John asked.
"Not great. I am having trouble getting funding as even with my growing wealth. I don't have enough funds. Even if I approach various families, we won't have enough so I applied to the Ministry a couple times. Each time I was rejected or stalled for months before being rejected." Felix sighed a bit annoyed.
John just nodded when Angel stood up excitedly.
"I picked one." She said as she held the notebook out.
