Angelica was bored out of her mind. At least if she were in her own home on her own bed, she would be able to relax.
She could not get comfortable in Ian's bed. It was so lumpy and hard, she was certain that the only reason she had managed to fall asleep last night was because she was do exhausted.
She wondered if Ian had back pain, how else could he call this a bed? She doubted she would be able to sleep on it tonight.
Angelica happened to glance at her finger where a golden ring now stood comfortably. This was the first time she had time to look at the ring.
It felt strange to have something nestled on her finger like this. She had never worn a ring before, it felt like a foreign object on her finger. She could not take it off, basically she had to get used to it.
Angelica fiddled with the ring, she moved it up and down her finger as if deliberately wanting to take it off.
