Easton rubbed his eyes before standing in front of the door and knocking. He took a step back and waited for a reply.
Angelica raised her head, she looked at the door. She was sure the maids would not knock, they had not knocked when they were going in and out, which meant that it was someone else.
At first she did not wish to reply. For all she knew, it might be Taryn outside the door, and she was not prepared to deal with that woman and her several problems today. Or maybe it was Edward, she also did not want to have to deal with him. Then she remembered that Iker existed as well.
In short, she did not want to speak to anyone, neither did she wish to see anyone.
"Come in," she said. Despite all her thoughts to keep silent, the person outside probably knew that there was nowhere else she could be except for her, and keeping silent would most probably cause the person to either continue knocking or send someone to look for her causing a huge problem.
