"What do we…" Gordon began to ask, his voice trembling as he surveyed the threat, but he was silenced when Grey stepped past the group.
He moved forward with a casual air, his hands still tucked deep into his trouser pockets as if he were merely going for a stroll.
"You all have done your best, and I'm genuinely glad to know my teammates aren't actually weaklings. So, leave this one to me; I will take care of this," Grey stated.
His eyes narrowed into sharp, predatory slits as he locked onto the approaching monsters.
"What?! Are you senile or something? How do you expect to solo six beasts alone?" Scarlet shouted, her face pale with disbelief.
"Dude! Scarlet is right on the mark here," Vince added, reaching out as if to pull Grey back.
Immediately after they finished speaking, a violent gale began to swirl around the clearing, condensing rapidly beside Grey and manifesting into a solid form.
