After he was done with chasing and taking care of the animals, Grey was led by Jankis back towards the palace.
After several minutes of nearly silent walking—save for Grey constantly grumbling and mumbling in a fit of irritation—they finally arrived back at the massive structure.
They passed by numerous elves performing various menial tasks pertaining to the palace's upkeep and bypassed the throne room where Grey had recently come close to death.
Eventually, they came to a halt in front of a door that was strangely adorned with living vines, which curled and spiraled to beautify the wooden frame.
Slowly pushing the door open, it revealed a breathtaking indoor garden.
As Grey stepped into the spacious chamber, he was immediately struck by the sheer magnificence of the sanctuary before him.
The room was filled with an abundance of natural light streaming in through a translucent ceiling, casting a warm, ethereal glow over the lush greenery.
