"I think so..." replied Avere, looking a bit tense as Leyk seemed to ready himself to do something as he smiled and replied with something he really didn't want to hear right now.
"Let's test it out then." he said as he vanished for a small moment.
A single instant later Avere felt a powerful impact on his back and he flew forwards, crashing into one of the trees in his way and taking it down with his whole body that was now starting to leak blood in silver colour as he laid on the ground, some part of him reforming themselves from silver as well, Leyk just standing there silently, his bright red eyes staring daggers into his souls and exuding a pressure akin to a dozen people of the same rank.
"So you are able to survive this much?" muttered Leyk as he disappeared once more reappearing right in front of Avere, sitting on his knees and looking straight into his eyes as he asked him something that Avere really did not want to hear but sadly had to agree with.
"I think it would be best to test your new durability a bit..." he said, looking at the other three as well who had been surprised but were now nodding as well, looking interested, Kehit once more putting her fingers before her mouth and taking a simple but effective defensive stance that relied on her footwork to take a good hold on the ground if she was attacked, which Leyk wasn't planning on either way.
It took a moment, but after the thought crossed Avere's mind as well, he had to agree that his current durability had to be tested, he was not as durable as a normal person of his rank after all, but he was certain that he had completely recovered far quicker, so it stood to reason that the silver did not entirely rely on organs and such, which also explained his own absence of hunger.
He nodded, and with that, the testing began, and he closed his eyes, readying for the pain he had still felt, be it not as intense as it would have been had he still been with bones, flesh and blood, something that Leyk might have even liked a bit now that he was a vampire, but perhaps it was just prejudices that were speaking inside him right now.
Leyk was quick to act, grabbing the stretched-out arm of Avere and throwing him away once more, using a bit more force than before and watching him skip a few times, akin to the way a stone flew over water when thrown correctly, just that, this time, he was losing a bit of silver, or rather, Cadon, whenever he came up on the ground, with Leyk thinking he better continue for now as the man once more crashed through a tree and was stopped by another, courtesy of the terrain, and he warped himself there within an instant, feeling his intent woven into the active.
Avere was damaged significantly, an entire arm missing but quickly regrowing, made of silver that seemed to be stored deep within Avere, a few many bludges that bled profusely in that very same silver scheme, and a lot more to complain about, not that that was something for Leyk to be annoyed about who had appeared right next to Avere, picked him up at the other arm after bending over and had swung him right against a rather thick tree, breaking it in the process and destroying a rather big part of Avere's face, making him disfigured, his wings not even having regrown after the first attack, the most vulnerable part of ehetrians due to the way they were attached, right to the shoulder bladed.
Now Leyk changed the holding method to using his hands to grab the skin on Avere's back as well as his hair, dancing in a circle a few times and adding momentum to throw him away once more, now towards the empty space where the corpses were, a few hands still sticking out, but most of them destined to never be alive again like Leyk had been lucky to be.
He flew a few hundred feet, hitting the ground a few times, Leyk very clearly having held back a bit as it was only that little distance in comparison to how far he could have actually thrown it, breaking a few of the hands each time he touched the ground, dust and blood spewing from some of them, rotten blood, slightly yellowish, as if it had been there for many years but been forced to stay relatively fresh, gaining a slight glance from Leyk before he appeared before the battered silver being that now resembled a being made purely from Cadon, Avere's entire body covered in cuts, in dents, in fractures of non-existent bones, two of his rams missing, his wings slowly trying to regenerate, his mind keenly aware of both the fact he would have been dead had he been a normal person of his rank, as well as with the understanding that Leyk had not given it his all, that he wasn't about to be dead yet.
"How much more can you take?" asked Leyk, slightly worried as he readied himself to attack, using his own fist to truly punch this time, seemingly interested in using a bit more power than before, with Avere slowly, and with great horror, realizing that Leyk had not yet used mana to reinforce himself in any way other than the first one he had explained.
Still, he answered with rather great confidence, saying something quietly.
"I can take much more... I think..."
And with that Leyk nodded, took a step back as he let Avere regenerate completely over two minutes, give or take, with that person questioning the reason before he talked once more.
"This time I will try a few things... I got many a power from that place" he pointed at the earring on his right ear, "and I have not yet even tried to use this so-called contract, however you are supposed to do that, so let me try something." he said, freezing the false blood within Avere's body who still answered affirmative.
"Go for it..." his tone being a bit scared.
