Leyk felt not that much different, his body still being 6'4, his black hair still being long, his body still rather pale, be it slightly paler now as he looked at his own arms, feeling a bit alien in where he had always been, his tongue soon finding a few teeth that were sharper and more sturdy than before, made to bite into necks, rip them open, and drink the blood, or, alternatively, bite into necks and inject a harmless liquid into the blood that pressured the vein and makes the feeding liquid come to the hungry being desiring it.
He felt a bit weird when he imagined blood, a bit hungry, his stomach making some trouble as Avere looked at him with a weird gaze, taking a step back a second later and quickly diverting that weird gaze as Kehit stared at him, her stance seemingly ready to defend herself as she looked deep into his eyes that seemed to almost entrance her, starting to talk, almost muttering as the other male beings also retreated, though, ironically, almost everyone here was male aside from a single person.
"Your eyes are red..." she muttered... sounding weirdly enticed, a bit excited, and a great heap of being impressed by something Leyk didn't know yet and was about to ask her about before she opened her mouth again, ready to continue talking.
"Red eyes are rare with vampires..." she muttered, seeming confused about a great many deal of things as she thought back on their entire interaction up to this date and could not see anything that fit with what was happening right now.
"The blood eyes, they are more advanced, they can literally see blood through walls and hypnotize people... as well as having greater power than normal... even greater mana as well... but only a select few species get bloodied eyes..." she added muttering, " so why you..."
"I was an ehetrian before this, but if I remember correctly, " he put his finger on his chin, slightly scratching it to get his thinking going, " the guy who had this body before me, back when it was still alive," he specified, not saying the name because of the other Cades that stood nearby and had had the trauma of killing Manug with his own hands as well, " they were something like an Orc."
"Well, then you were very lucky, Orcs are quite adapt at becoming vampires for some reason or another, so perhaps some of the attributes of his species remained after coming to this world and gave you those bright red eyes..." she said, almost to herself as Leyk suddenly had a thought pop up in his head and asked something else.
"Then, how strong am I now?" he inquired.
"Oh, ridiculously strong... but I am not exactly sure, so I'd probably test it on a tree if I were you" said Avere from the sidelines, feeling it should slowly be time for him to get involved, though he did slightly fear being attacked by the other him that had previously beaten the Cades that was part of him to a pulp without breaking a single sweat after they had grown so much stronger than before.
A second later Leyk already stood before a tree, having simply taken a few steps forwards, going past the three that had been standing eerie before making way for him in a bit of a terror from the presence he was exuding, one that dripped of what could only be called as blood, perhaps also the reason that Kehit had been so enticed by his new form.
He stretched his arm back for a short moment before punching into the tree, be it that he did not give everything, and indeed, he was surprised by what happened when he did so.
As he had hit the silver tree the tree gave way and his hand had come out from the other side of it, barely even feeling any pain, any resistance, as if the tree had simply given up...
Had it perhaps been eaten by termites?
He thought that at first, but the others taking a step back, aside from Kehit who had a smile upon her face as she looked upon the impaled tree that would take many years to recover from this one attack, especially since it was hurt a bit more as he pulled out his fist, not really trying to but still breaking it with great ease, having subconsciously used his steadfast active as well, perhaps in the intent to make himself attack without as much recoil, or flying back in some way.
"Trees aren't that good to demonstrate strength against" said Kehit, "they grow in a way that makes it difficult to throw over with one punch without using mana as you just did, they are rather fragile at a certain power, even if they are pretty thick and such, so much so even I could do that if I concentrated a bit more mana into my fists and reinforced the momentum, the second technique that I did already know to be honest.
"You should probably throw something" she paused for a moment, shrugging her shoulder, the left one, towards Avere, " like the one guy here that is able to fly without much trouble." she finished, causing Avere to have a bit of fear ingrained upon his face, taking a few steps back with the other two, even the aloof guy now slightly interested, taking a few steps away from him.
"That reminds me" began Leyk, seemingly intent on actually throwing him after this conversation, " why do you even have wings when we lost our species as we entered this place?"
"I don't think I was born of one of those corpses...." Avere answered, a light starting up slowly in the back of his head as he asked something else.
"That reminds me, I think we might have not yet introduced ourselves..." he gestured at the three new people, though, in many a way, the two Cades were the new ones.
"My name is Avere" he said, gesturing at Leyk, not only to make him say it, but also to confirm whether or not he had changed his name or whether something else had happened.
"My name is Leyk" the newborn vampire said, nodding at his intent, and quickly going towards his next question.
"Are you made of liquid silver?" he asked.
