"It's a skill known as manifestation, it looks cool and bright, and it is undoubtably one of the most powerful skills if one masters it correctly, gained at the titan-rank, often even leading one to break through to that rank, but that which we are doing over there, " the bodiless voice seemed to almost nudge his sight over to the two invincible monsters still playing catch with endlessly tall structures, endlessly heavy boulders of ice, with spears big enough to even impale the creature he had seen, even the true body, the true size of the dragon that slowly seemed to grow annoyed, if not even completely defeated with the sheer repetitiveness of this situation, acting as if he was yawning from time to time.
"The manifestation is a culmination of all skills and all stories one has dragged behind them until they breached the titan-rank, it is the story of a person made flesh, for lack of a better term, leading to many people even hiding it, just to not show that their ability is something like enhancing farts, but Adelius, that old talker, probably already mentioned that, didn't he?" the voice asked as a gigantic explosion, the collision of two weapons, two long blades, one made form the darkest metal, one made from the hardest ice, collided and caused a wave of cold and metal to spread throughout the whole wide area, mostly empty of people, though countless, thousands, if not even tens of thousands still fell at that simple clash, often taken out by metal splitters to the heads, or simply freezing to death, some even just dying from heart attacks and anxiety from the sheer absurdity of the current situation they had found themselves in.
"My manifestation was the skill of creating and controlling weapons, every possible kind, all of which I had mastered many decades ago, so I became known as the master of weapons, the ruler of the blades, the smasher of hammers, the hammaar king, the last one being my favourite" he seemed to invisibly smirk for a minute as he said hammarr, probably related to the word hammer from what Avere could tell.
The hero, the living one, meanwhile, created multiple powerful spikes from the ground to pierce the great dragon, still in human form, but now over three hundred feet high, spreading out multiple new arms in an attempt to overwhelm the tinier hero who was using their agility to dodge the countless icy cold attacks sent out from the dozens of arms the endlessly growing creature now had.
Mere moments later, though, the dragon's human form had already turned to a few dozen meters in high, still mocking the normal size of beings, but not as imposing as it had been before, when he had overgrown even his previous self, the self that had thought against Karan in the heights before.
To be honest, while the battle was incredible, it was not that exciting, it was mainly just dodging and testing each other's limits, but after some time, the dragon began to grin, his mouth salivating as he opened it for the first time, a great flame coming out of the human maw, as if it was the dragon's true self, sending the blades that had been sent towards him, mainly smaller ones, Karan seemingly having preferred quantity over mass in this scenario, flying into all directions from the blow of the ghostly white flames now rushing towards Karan who was over a three-hundred feet in the air right now, as if surfing on the currents atop the broad sword.
Still, those very same weapons vanished into thin air long before they finally hist Karan, turning into that from which they had originated from, nothing, but mist and colour in front of Karan, who, for a mere instant, could not see anything that was going on.
The breath hit Karan almost head on, a mere moment of lapse of judgment, but Karan was still able to easily block it, creating a great shield made of black steel in front of him, decorated by countless blades on the side, showing that the man had been using his manifestation for many a year now.
But rather than that, what was truly impressive was that the frozen world, the manifestation that the dragon had caused to happen across the battlefield that still stretched countless miles, moved now, it moved, and it began to rise high into the air.
Countless people were crushed by countless dangers, be it falling from the ridiculously sharp sides of the gigantic upside-down half sphere that was now rising into the air, disregarding every law of both magic and gravity, as well as even the most basic math that Avere had known to come, and sometimes, even love.
Karan stood still in the middle of the sphere that stretched tens of thousands of feet, great enough for even the dragon to move freely, the endless wings spread out, which it could now do, no questions asked, but instead, as the hero restarted shooting greater weapons at the creature, the dome, now thousands of feet in the air and rising at an alarming rate that had already driven most weaker people on the piece of land as big as a whole city into subconsciousness, starting to tilt.
The many people still atop, many thousands, fell off, tumbling towards inevitable doom as the two people, now almost seeming as gods surrounded by their manifestations, the hero seeming as if he had made himself an entire body mainly consisting of rusty iron, build as if made out of the very thing he seemed to be so proficient in, blades, the dragon now, still struggling as one of the spears, thirty feet long, half a foot thick, having pierced their human heart, or at least where the human heart should be, had impaled the great being that now seemed to try and revert to their original appearance.
Many people, countless ones, had just died, but to both Avere and to Karan who remained silent as he watched it all, only a sense of odd and misguided pride being around his shoulders to guide his feelings and his vision towards what was going to happen next, as if it was a child showing off a painting it had done of the father, remaining to show any kind of empathy.
