"Well, Madam Bones, the answer to one of your questions, I am sure you have guessed, is that we expect Voldemort to attack this location, and possible others. We have set up similar defenses at each of the locations." The Commander explained. "Perhaps you can answer one of my questions. Why are you here, Madam Bones? I believe the General suggested you take a few days off." "You've known since yesterday?" Madam Bones asked, surprised. "Madam Bones. Our source has revealed that Voldemort was told by someone at the Ministry that we have a source in his camp. I am sure you can understand our reluctance to share anything with you if the source of your leak is not taken care of. We do not believe you are the source of the leak, but any information you share with either Senior Auror Scrimgeour or your Minister Fudge will likely reach the wrong ears." The Commander continued. "I understand, Commander." Madam Bones replied.
"Midshipman Fenix. How did you know where I was?" Madam Bones asked. Everybody was looking at him, eyebrows quirked. "Quite simple, Madam Bones – your footprints." "You saw my footprints….all the way from up here?" she asked. "Yes, Madam Bones. They were the only set that kept moving forward, with no body attached." He responded. "It caught my attention." "You are very observant" she said.
December 23, 1995. 9:00am. Christ Church, Oxford College. Evan just came off his shift. He sat down to eat a little. Then he went to the W.C (bathroom for you Americans) to relive himself. Then he called "Dobby". "Yes, Sirs Mr. Birdy" Dobby responded. "Cheeky little bugger. How are you Dobby?" Evan asked. "Oks sir." "Have you and Winky eaten and rested?" he asked. "Yes sirs" "Good. Dobby, the attack is supposed to start any time now. Watch out for Hermione and her father. He has no way to defend himself. OK?" Evan asked. "Dobby and Winky bes watching, sir." "OK Dobby, thanks a million". Then he returned to his position.
Time – 10:00am. Evan was sitting with his recon team, doing Kuji-kiri meditation. Rin, Pyo, Kai, over and over again. Madam Bones was watching, sensing no magic. All of a sudden, Evan stiffened. "Incoming – keep your eyes open" he whispered to his team, then looked up at the Commander. The Commander nodded and called out over the coms "Incoming". A second later, hell broke out.

The first thing they all noticed was the searing cold and all hope and happiness leaving them. The Dementors had arrived en-force at the Tom Gate, moving toward the Quad. Then a multitude of pops could be heard on the rooftops, in front and back of the gate entrance, and inside the annexes. Spellfire of all colors could be seen streaking in the air. Then additional pops were heard as 15 Giants appeared, some in front of the gate and some at the rear. Madam Bones looked on in horror, thinking no one and nothing would survive this onslaught. She felt extremely vulnerable without her wand. She crouched down behind the sand bags along with Miss Granger and her father. Madam Bones took a look at this young witch, and then looked again. Then she looked at her father in confusion. Neither looked freaked out. Then she heard it. Painful screaming. Explosions. Bellows of pain from the Giants. Madam Bones looked around the sand bags and saw the impossible. The Death Eaters that had apparated onto therooftop were already down, dead or dying. She hazarded a look over the rooftop façade at the grounds below – Several of the Giants had fallen into pits and were bellowing in pain. Others were hopping up and down as they stepped on the "X's she had seen earlier (and on several Death Eaters). "Whoooosh" she heard, then the head of one of the Giants disappeared in a large "Boom". Another Giant collapsed with a large hole in it's head. One by one the Giants were killed. How was it nobody seemed to be affected by the Dementors?
Madam Bones then saw the Dementors. They had been corralled by fire and driven over one of the pits containing liquid. All of a sudden, "WHOOSH" followed by an ear-splitting screech – the pit caught fire, and like Findfyre, went after the magic, after the Dementors, incinerating them. It was like magic she had never seen before! It had to be magic! The only other explanation was even scarier. Fenix – he appeared to be at the center of everything lately. Madam Bones turned her head, looking for him….and found him at the edge of the rooftop sniping away.
A minute later, all was eerily quiet. There was no more moaning. No screaming. No crackling of fire; nothing but the silence after the battle. Not more than two minutes had passed from the appearance of the dementors.
