Silver accepts Alex's offer. He will show Alex the HQ of Tartaros with a condition. That is to kill him and hide his resurrection from Gray.
"You don't want to meet Gray?" Ultear asks while frowning.
"I don't want him to see me being a part of a Group of Demons. Especially demons of the same kind as Deliora, the one that destroyed our family."
Silver couldn't avoid meeting Gray in the series. That's why he acted as if he was Deliora so Gray would fight him seriously and kill him. He didn't want to keep being controlled by an Etherious Demon.
The little freedom that Keyes gives him is not real freedom. Keyes just wants to experiment with him even if it means killing other demons. Keyes just wants to improve his Necromancy through Silver by giving Silver some freedom to see how much a resurrected corpse can behave like a normal human.
So while he seems to have his own free will, Silver is still under Keyes's control. He only lets Silver roam around killing demons because the corpses revived by Keyes need strong desires to stay alive longer.
Silver's desire is to kill demons, a revenge for his family. That's why Tartaros lets him go around killing their kin. He won't be able to kill them with his level anyway and Keyes can always return Silver to the afterlife, so he is not a threat to Tartaros.
Instead, he is a good specimen for their experiment. Silver also knows this, but he can't do anything about it. Even if he wants to stop, his desire for revenge against demons just keeps pushing him.
Keyes's Necromancy makes his desire for revenge consume him. All corpses that Keyes resurrects will be consumed by their desires because their lifespans depend on how strong their desires are.
Even now, Silver's instinct keeps pushing him to break free from Ultear's restraint and attack both of them. They aren't demons, but his strong hate for demons make him bloodthirst. So Ultear keeps restraining him with her Ice God Slayer Magic.
"Sure, I can kill you and won't mention you to Gray. I'll even crystallize your Ice Devil Slayer Magic and give it to Gray so he can kill more Demons from the Book of Zeref like Deliora and Tartaros."
Ultear is surprised that Alex agrees easily. But then when she thinks more about it, she might do the same if she is in Silver's position.
Gray has already moved on from losing his parents and now he already has friends that will always be there for him. He will feel hurt if he knows his father is resurrected and controlled by the same kind of demon that killed his parents.
"Alright. I hope you can kill all of them. I know you were the one who killed Deliora, so I'm thankful to you. But Tartaros is on another level." Silver warns Alex.
He already heard from Tartaros that Deliora has been killed and somehow they actually knew that it was done by Alex and Ur even though they left immediately after Deliora died.
No one else except for those from Ur's house knows about this fact, but Tartaros actually knows it, which actually surprises Alex and Ultear.
"How do you know that I killed Deliora?"
"Keyes, the Necromancer who resurrected me has a way to know how others died as long as he has access to their remaining body parts. They were surprised when hearing about Deliora's death because that demon has always been destroying places and was unstoppable. So they investigated and Keyes could see what Deliora saw before his death. We recognized the woman quickly because she was a powerful Wizard. But we only realized that the young boy was you after you fought Acnologia and got titled as a hero. Your Magic became well-known and we realized that your 1 Tailed Sand Beast was the same creature you transformed into when you killed Deliora. That's why when you returned alive and joined the Grand Magic Games, Tartaros was putting a lot of attention on you."
Now Alex understands how Tartaros finds out about how Deliora died. He also understands that now Tartaros is wary of him and should've gathered information about him, so they probably have prepared something to face him.
"Wait! If you knew that Deliora had died, why did you still have the desire to kill demons? Shouldn't you feel relieved that Deliora has died and with your desire getting weaker, you should be released from the Necromancy, right?" Ultear is confused.
"That should be the case if my only desire is revenge against Deliora. But upon my resurrection, my desire was to kill demons like Deliora, so even when I know that Deliora has died, I still want to kill other demons and Keyes's Necromancy ingrained it deeply into my soul and mind. I can't remove it at all."
They finally understand, so now Alex finally asks about Tartaros HQ again. Keyes might be able to know what Silver is doing. He might suddenly check Silver's activity, so they need to be fast.
Silver tells them about the tool he has in his pocket that can track Tartaros HQ's location all the time. Their base kept moving, after all, so they needed a tool to find its location when they left the base.
After retrieving the tool that looks like a compass, Alex finally prepares to turn Silver's Ice Devil Slayer Magic into a lacrima crystal.
Well, it's not really turning it into a crystal. He is transferring the magic into an empty piece of lacrima crystal using his Rinne-Sharingan's ability to absorb magic power and transfer it.
Alex has prepared the small lacrima crystal piece because he has planned this from the beginning. If Silver didn't cooperate, he would just defeat Silver and take the Ice Devil Slayer Magic without Silver's consent.
He never plans to follow the original plots since he started living in this world, after all. Alex has his own judgment and feelings about those plots, that's why he made so many changes.
Silver also willingly transfers his Ice Devil Slayer Magic into the lacrima, so the process goes smoothly and the Ice Devil Lacrima is perfectly created.
After emptying Silver's magic power, Alex uses his Rinne-Sharingan's Human Path ability to control others' souls. The Human Path's ability isn't just for pulling out souls and reading the souls' minds, but it can do more things with souls.
While Alex still can't utilize it that greatly like the Sage of The Six Path, he can at least release Silver's soul from Keyes's Necromancy.
He couldn't use it with just 1 Rinne-Sharingan before, so this is also thanks to his future self's sacrifice and plan.
"What technique is that?" Ultear is stunned to see Silver's soul leaves his body and then disappears slowly.
Silver's soul also seems surprised and he also smiles with a very relieved expression. He also seems comfortable as his soul disappears.
"A spell to pull out someone's soul out of their body. If used on living humans, I can only use it on those weaker than me and I can't fully pull their souls. It's used more to gain information by reading their minds through their souls. But in the case of a living corpse like Silver, it becomes so strong that I can free his soul from the Necromancer's control. His low magic power also contributed a lot because he has gotten much weaker than before."
Alex himself is still not sure if that's all there is to the Human Path ability. But he can't experiment now because he's sure the enemies have been alerted by now because of Silver's death.
And as he thought, Tartaros is alerted by Silver's sudden death. Even Keyes is surprised because he knows Silver isn't weak enough to be killed randomly in the street.
So he tries to use his Necromancy skills to find out what happened to Silver. That's when he finds an abnormality. He can't use his power to show him Silver's final moment to know who could kill Silver.
Keyes tries again and again until finally he manages to see Silver's final moments using his Necromancy ability. However, it's not complete and he can only see what Silver witnessed a few seconds before his death.
With such a very short time, the only moment that Keyes can see is when Alex is about to release Silver's soul until the soul finally leaves the body.
It still alerts the whole Tartaros. But they don't realize that they are being hunted by Alex now. They think that Alex coincidentally met Silver and they got into a fight.
Though at least now they know that Alex can defeat Silver easily, so they can confirm that he has considerable strength.
Keyes is especially angry that his best experiment subject is killed. Silver has given him a lot of data as the only one who managed to stay alive for years among all the undeads he resurrected using his Necromancy.
Keyes really hates Alex now, so if they meet, Keyes will without a doubt try to kill Alex, and he even wants to use Alex as his next experiment. But of course, Alex won't just let himself be killed.
The role of who's the hunter and who's the prey is unclear. But one thing for sure, now that Alex knows how to find their base, he will find and fight them.
