In fact, after seeing the stab wound on the grotesque creature's arm, witnessing how it had suddenly materialized only after so many invisible attacks, and noticing that its strange beak somewhat resembled those of the invisible hunters he had fought off a few hours ago, Ethan was almost certain that this grotesque creature was related to those invisible monstrous herons in some way.
There were simply too many similarities for him to ignore.
As he remembered those creatures, Erius's sudden exclamation after nearly being killed by those monsters resounded in his head.
'Dammit! Who are these creatures? The past records never mentioned anything like it.'
And judging by its action of saving that sheep demon just when he was on the cusp of finishing it, an unbelievable conjecture started to form in his mind.
However, he had no time to dwell upon it.
