Vexx looked around him wondering if he should summon Cormac and the others or if he should summon his nodachi or to just fight with his fists. Vexx thought back to how they fought the other wolves and they weren't that big of a threat.
Vexx saw that one of the wolves had gotten closer than the others and was just about to inform everyone of it but the wolf jumped at him with claws in front of him. Vexx jumped back one meter and prepared the darkness. Vexx covered his body with it and enhanced his body with the remaining darkness within him.
When the wolf had landed it immediately dashed forward at Vexx. The wolf got to him within just a few seconds. The wolf was probably faster than Vexx and definitely more agile. Vexx saw how the dead creature got ready to bite him in the leg. Vexx dashed to the side and the wolf was right after and managed to bite him.

Vexx gritted his teeth as the wolf's teeth sunk into his flesh. 'What the hell happened. I have my darkness wrapped around my leg?" The pain was frustrating but not unbearable. Vexx quickly grabbed the neck of the wolf and tried lifting him up off the ground. The wolf was surprised and let go of Vexx's leg and instead tried to bite him in the arm but Vexx had a strong grip around it and banged the creature to the ground.
After Vexx had banged the corpse's head in the ground five times then he threw what looked to be an unmoving Wolf in front of him. Vexx waited to see if the wolf was dead but after 5 seconds the wolf had been moving around and the broken skull seemed to be repairing itself. Vexx looked at the Wolf who now looked to be as good as new.
Vexx could feel a tingling feeling from his leg. When he saw that his wound was nearly healed he understood the power of his Dark Regeneration skill. The rest of the wolves observed the rest of the members of the group but didn't interfere with the fight. Because of the wolves no one could help Vexx as they needed to watch out for the other wolves and wait for their attack. Vexx wondered how they could beat the dead but couldn't think about it for too long as the wolf had already started walking towards him again. The other wolves also started to walk closer. When they were 5 meters away they jumped up in the air and dove onto one person each. There was one wolf who stood and watched the fight.
Vexx punched the wolf who flew at him but because of the claws in front he decided to faint and go under him instead. When Vexx was behind him he instantly turned around and saw how the wolf had just landed. The wolf looked around a little startled. Vexx didn't waste the opportunity he had been given and dashed towards him and slammed his entire body into the wolf who rolled a few meters because of the impact.
Vexx dashed towards the wolf and decided to push him down thanks to his body weight. The wolf was not that strong so he didn't manage to push him away and struggled underneath Vexx who sat on top of him extending his darkness to the top of his fingers making claws.
Vexx had gotten an idea while fighting and decided to try it out. The wolf cried out in pain as Vexx started ripping off the fur and flesh of him. The stench was horrible but Vexx pushed through it and started to see a big shining thing. If someone would have seen him they would have thought Vexx was a horrible creature of the night hunting its prey like a wild beast.
The big shiny thing Vexx saw was what he had been looking for. The wolf who observed had just caught some glimpse of what Vexx was trying to do. The wolf panicked and rushed towards Vexx but it was too late.
Vexx who sat on top of the wolf saw how it started to move slower than it had done before. Vexx took the big shining crystal out of the wolf and finally a message appeared.

"I know how to defeat them now. You need to extract their crystal cores!" Vexx shouted but suddenly felt a chill and looked behind him as the other wolf was running right towards him.Vexx rolled over to his right to avoid the big bite aimed at his neck.
Naomi, who had killed the wolf in front of her 2 times already tried to come up with a new plan to take them down. But then she heard Vexx shout about the cores and she immediately went in again. The wolf was faster than Naomi but she had been trained since she was young so she had the advantage over them. She dashed forward towards the wolf.
The wolf who had just regenerated started running towards Naomi and aimed to bite at her leg but Naomi twisted her body so she would avoid the bite and also be able to cut the back of the creature. Naomi sliced its back opening a wound on the back. Naomi could see how the wound started closing so she dashed forward again slashing the wolf from behind.
Naomi could start to see the glowing crystal inside the wolf as she continued cutting it. When she had a clear site of the crystal she dashed in and took the crystal making the wolf stop moving like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she looked around she saw that Sky had some trouble so she dashed towards her.
