The morning sun made Vexx cover his eyes with his arm as he stood up and walked towards the bag with the meat. "So how is the meat?" Vexx asked, looking at Naomi and taking down his arm as he got used to the bright sun.
"You were right... The meat turned good after the first sunlight hit." Naomi said, still looking at the meat with a confused look. When everyone was awake they started to eat and go over their plans for the day. "We should use this as our base camp and explore the areas surrounding it... We should split up in three." Naomi said, looking at the others for confirmation.
When Vexx heard that they would split up he immediately said "I can go solo if everyone is okay with it." Naomi nodded and everyone seemed to agree. Blake and Kamari decided that it would be best to learn each other's abilities so they decided to split up the teams. Vexx would go alone, Blake and Sky were going as one duo and Naomi and Kamari were going as the other one.
When they had eaten up they decided that they would get back together before sundown so they could have one last meal before the night came.
When everyone was ready they left. Vexx liked being alone for a little while just watching the weird things on the planet. Vexx walked down the mountain scooting near the waterfall. Vexx looked up in the clear sky trying to discern how much time he had until they needed to meet at the camp, Vexx guessed that he had about 5 hours before he needed to be at the camp.
Vexx looked at the water and saw that a bit further away there were two bird-like creatures drinking. The birds were terrifying, they had long legs and a large curved beak. The birds bodies where scrunched up as they drank. Vexx looked at them and determined if they were Basic tier or even higher. The height was incredible, they looked to be over 2 meters tall. It was very rare to see basic beasts that were so long but they were out there.
Vexx hid for a few minutes looking at them and eventually decided that he needed to try the sword that he hadn't gotten to really try yet. Vexx watched as the darkness took out a dark blade. Vexx took the blade and used the trees to his advantedge and slowly but surely started to get closer to them.
When Vexx was about 30 meters away from the birds they suddenly stretched their long necks up in the air and looked around before eventually looking at one of the trees and right behind that tree stood Vexx with his sword ready to fight.
Vexx felt the gaze and decided to dash at them. Vexx's speed was inhumane as he dashed the 30 meters in just a matter of seconds. Vexx looked at the birds who stood tall and decided to slash at one of the legs. As Vexx Tried slashing the leg he felt a gust of wind and the bird was now over him.
The bird looked to be flying but Vexx felt the power those legs had. The bird tried to kick Vexx in the back but Vexx rolled over and decided to strike higher this time. Before Vexx could do anything the other bird attacked him from behind by stomping him in the back.
Vexx fell to the ground and rolled to the side as both birds decided to stomp at him. When Vexx had rolled over he quickly stood up and dashed away from the beasts. Vexx looked at the beasts and decided to try the skill his sword had. Vexx circled the beast one time before finding an opening.
When Vexx looked at one of the birds he dashed in and started to gather all of the darkness in the surrounding. The sword was brimming with energy and ready to cut the birds. Vexx came in from the side and used some of his darkness, almost making a stair making him come from above and slashed.
When the darkness was released the energy made a small blast that hit before the actual sword had hit. After a few messages had come up he looked at the corpse seeing that it got completely demolished. Vexx turned around and saw how the other bird started running away. The bird was fast but Vexx had a few tricks up his sleeve.
Before the bird was too far away Vexx took his arm and threw his nodachi but just before it left he used the darkness and pushed it making it incredibly fast and piercing right through it.

Vexx looked at the corpses and decided to extract their cores. Both cores were basic but they were quite big. Vexx decided to store them in his darkness as he didn't have any other places to store them.
Before Vexx would do anything more he wanted to place his unused stat points somewhere. 'I don't feel like I have that much of a stammina problem. But I was close to exhausting myself when fighting the whole night yesterday so I think I should put some into it.'

Vexx continued to walk in the forest when he stumbled upon a big mountain with a big cave entrance. Vexx walked closer and entered it. The rocks below looked smashed and the ground was surprisingly even. Vexx walked deeper in and saw how the big cave entrance became smaller but split into two different paths. Vexx was very curious to where they led but he knew that it wouldn't be the smartest thing to go and explore.
When Vexx was about to leave he heard big footsteps on the ground outside. Vexx walked closer making sure to stay in the darkness and not revealing himself. Vexx's face became filled with dread when he saw what had entered the cave with something that resembled humans in its gigantic mouth.
