When Claire was about to go home, Fein offered to drive him and carry his things. But Claire refused, saying that he could carry his own things. Saying that it wasn't heavy.
"I only have a few things. Just some old files, pens and pencils and other small things," Claire told his lover.
"But still, I'm worried that you'll have to leave the company alone to return home under such circumstances. What if you suddenly went into labor halfway through and I wasn't there?" asked Fein worriedly.
"What the hell is that? You heard it yourself that doctor said I'm expected to give birth in the next week. So there's no way that it's going to happen today," he replied.
Fein knew that, but he still felt worried about letting Claire go home alone. What if something happened when he was alone?
"Take it easy, you've applied for your leave anyway, right? I'm sure your leave letter will be processed in a few days," Fein said.
