Panic set in between Claire and Fein when Claire's water broke. He didn't expect that the water would break in the middle of the road, and the hospital was still quite far from their current position.
However, the baby was about to be born and Claire had to go into labor right then and there.
Luckily, the bus passengers who witnessed this immediately approached Claire and tried to help him. The old lady from earlier was carrying some blankets and she helped to cover Claire's body.
Fein was asked to move Claire's body behind the bushes at the back of the bus stop so as not to be seen by the people on the side of the road.
"Excuse me, I'm going to start taking off your pants," said the old woman who was also a former hospital nurse.
Claire nods, and the old lady took off Claire's pants to help him give birth.
