In the evening, Fein was much better after Claire gave him the medicine this afternoon. Luckily, his fever did not increase and actually decreased.
"Feeling much better already? Or does your head still hurt?" Claire asked his lover.
He gently rubbed his head, feeling so worried about his condition. However, Fein replied that he was fine. He thought the medicine was working well. Claire felt relieved after hearing that.
Fein looked at him, seeing the relieved expression on his Omega's face. But he pinched both of Claire's cheeks, while scolding him.
"Now you understand the consequences of what you've done, right? You pulled that stupid prank on me, to the point where I had to stay in that cold lake long enough to look for you," he scolded Claire.
"Yes, I understand, I told you that I'm sorry. I promise I won't do it again," Claire replied while holding both of Fein's hands on his cheeks.
