"No matter what happens, you have to live your life happily," Yvette continued.
Without waiting for a reply from Blake, she suddenly dropped her gaze and began murmuring. Nevertheless, Blake still heard every single word.
"There was a big flood a long time ago. My entire family was washed away by the flood except for my mommy."
Then, she continued, "When my mommy and I saw a tree, we clung onto it tightly, but the flood was too strong. My mommy said the tree was unable to hold the weight of two people, so she told me to close my eyes."
"She said if I closed my eyes, we would be saved. I listened to her and closed my eyes. Then, I heard her voice telling me I must live happily," she added.
As she continued to reminisce, she said, "She told me to cling onto the tree tightly, and I should never let go of it no matter what. She said I must wait until someone comes by to save me."
