Charlotte did not stop to doubt Ruby's words, but her cautiousness would not let her settle at that.
"Can you bring me to jewelry store?" she asked.
Ruby wanted to clear any misunderstandings once and for all, so she willingly led Charlotte to the jewelry store.
When the women arrived, there were many jades on display that looked like the one Ruby purchased.
It was not costly at all to produce jades like those, hence the abundance.
Assuming that Ruby introduced Charlotte to the store, the store clerk greeted them enthusiastically, "Are you here to buy some jade, too? You must really have a good eye because our jades have been selling like hotcakes."
As the store clerk continued to ramble, Charlotte wiped off any remaining doubts she had from her mind. It seemed like it was indeed a coincidence.
When Charlotte and Ruby stepped out of the store, Charlotte could not help but ask, "You named him Blake, right? How is he doing?"
