Callahan ripped the chains from his legs, turning and slamming Brody into the ground before immediately turning on Justin next.
Before he could make contact, Jackal latched onto Callahan from behind, ripping and tearing at the titan.
Jacob appeared before The Head of House Durangor, his body shrouded in his own blood. He looked up, grinning as a rope hung from his arms.
He dashed, allowing the winds to explode outward as his immense speed began to wrap around Callahan.
"Trickery..." Callahan growled, yanking on the rope and launching Jacob into the air, where Callahan leaped and grabbed him, spinning and throwing him into the ground below with him following shortly behind.
The blood from Jacob's body began to swirl and shift, before instantly sharpening and shooting towards Callahan.
A wall of metal separated his descent from the attack, crashing into Jacob despite Justin's best attempt.
However, it trembled beneath Callahan's force.
"Come on..." Brody growled, pinning his shoulder against the metal plating above.
Jackal spun, yanking at Callahan's right leg and knocking him to the ground.
He grunted, catching himself with a flip and summoning a blade as he locked onto Hans at the top of the crater.
"Not on my watch!" Equan yelled, slamming his shoulder into Callahan with a burst of lightning, at the same time Kaylynn arrived slamming down a massive gust of wind, pinning Callahan to the ground.
That was before Finnian, grabbed Kaylynn by the hair, dragging her to the ground with a terrible slam.
Equan turned, but felt the crushing blow from Callahan shatter his ribs as his body hurled into the other direction.
Justin pointed his finger at Finnian, firing a piercing line of blood straight towards Finnian's Catalyst, but much to Justin's surprise, another figure stepped into view, easily blocking the attack.
The crater above exploded outward as debris shot from a gaping hole left in the side of the Sphere of Metal... And raining down was a terrible shaped Chase lashing and ripping at Vex in his grip, both intertwined and swinging as they fell to Earth from inside the meteor...
Poppy followed, spinning and gritting her teeth as she soared straight at Vex from above.
CRASH!
SPLAT!
Vex turned, grabbing Chase by the leg and arm, using him to shield Poppy's attack while sacrificing his own body for the fall.
Poppy gasped as her spear drove straight through Chase's shoulder without hesitation, stopping inches away from Vex's skull...
"DAMNIT!" Poppy cursed, but Chase was able to assume that this wouldn't work... So he ripped her spear from his own flesh, launching a powerful touch of Axis against the ground with his left hand finger...
Boom!
Vex staggered under the force of the twitch, watching as Chase swirled into the air with the ivory spear in his right hand and Apocalypse resummoning in his other...
He hurled Apocalypse first, but of course it met a powerful slash that demolished half of the meteor hanging above them.
Then as he descended, he studied Vex's fixated eyes... Twisting and hurling the spear at Vex, only to get knocked away by his blade.
Flames spirted in Chase's hands, and he could only form the position of something driving downwards with a spear... Knowing that this would be suicide if it didn't work... He grinned... Placing all of his faith within the talent passed from all of the people who Chase considered his mentors...
The flames raged... Forming a spear in his hands as he drove straight into Vex's braced blade.
Poppy followed, sliding at Vex's legs and tripping him forward, losing him all of the leverage he had in the clash.
Chase knocked his blade away, spinning and slashing at Vex's chest with reverence.
Poppy appeared behind him, jabbing her own spear into Vex's stomach from behind...
Chase kicked Vex deeper into Poppy's control, increasing the pain of her spear twicefold.
"I love this..." Vex grinned, pointing at the far corner of the crater.
Natalia grimaced, feeling her essence sucked from her body.
"But... You aren't the only one capable of stealing others tricks..." Vex laughed, as a wave of indigo energy shot outward, causing Natalia's scream from the other side of the battlefield.
Poppy summoned her specter, placing it between her and the blast... But dissipating in the process.
Chase on the other hand, felt the full brunt of Natalia's energy, getting launched into the meteor above and descending lifelessly into the crater...
Poppy grimaced, dodging left as one of Callahan's ranged attacks barely missed her, and before she knew it she had gotten entangled in a string of parries against Vex.
Turning, she deflected the greatsword of Callahan with a blast of Ivory energy, then she ducked avoiding Vex's blade.
Her face was expressionless... But her movements... Were flawless.
He kicked up, elbowing Vex in the jaw before jabbing the blunt of her spear into his chest, backing him away while she turned on Callahan, spinning over a horizontal slash of his greatsword, and landing on it mid swing, pushing back with Axis, launching herself around Callahan's neck, using her spear to dent in throat of his armor, while at the same time pulling back and pressing the bottom of her boots into Callahan's back...
She braced, forcing a powerful blast of Axis energy into Callahan's back and launching herself upward with the leverage from her spear.
Twirling, she landed with several second-long blows with Vex.
Cl-Clang! Clang! Cl-Cl-Clang!
Their blades met swiftly and elegantly...
She swerved, watching slowly as Vex's greatsword jabbed past only inches away from her face...
She used her shoulder, slamming against the blade and charging forward, stabbing at Vex's head while quickly turning, throwing her foot up onto Vex's blade and watching as Callahan's blade narrowly shot past from below...
She grinned, spinning off of Vex's blade, nicking the corner of Callahan's and throwing her legs around Callahan's armor, dragging him to the ground with a slam while quickly twirling her spear, deflecting several arcs of energy from Vex.
At the same time, Justin unleased countless spears of blood towards Vex from behind, only to be easily countered by countless of slashes in the fraction of a second.
'This can't last much longer...' A voice called out in the minds of Unity...
Poppy grit her teeth, almost getting killed in a single strike as Vex's blade moved much faster than she could comprehend.
Callahan tried to attack from behind, before Jacob caught his arm and pulled, trying to sprint with it but only running in place before Callahan could get an attack off.
SLAM!
Jacob's body hit the ground again, only just before Brody could arrive, delivering a powerful strike on Callahan's helmet, denting in the metal only for Callahan to use his ranged attacks to get Brody from behind, slamming him into Justin.
Jackal leaped at Vex, but was easily knocked aside.
Luke's body fell unconscious, hitting the ground with a quiet thud.
Hans let out one last roar, feeling the overwhelming force of the Sphere of Metal crushing down on him... He could only last a little longer.
Gideon cursed, unable to hold his gravity any longer.
Luna's bare feet hit the ground... Her body slowly floating towards the air above...
"That's right..." She whispered... Her silver dress flowing with the vast winds of many battles...
Outstretching her arms... Her eyes closed... And suddenly the air grew freezing cold... And the gravity almost shifted...
Vex looked up in pause, whistling as the sight beheld itself to him.
"FOR ANYTHING UNDER THE MOON'S LIGHT... IS UNDER MY DOMAIN! HEAR ME MOTHER AND GRANT ME YOUR PRESENCE ONCE MORE!" Luna's voice broke through the skies, shaking the entire firmament as the meteor above trembled.
A vibrant ghostly glow fogged over the battlefield below.
And a thousand strings of light lit up like a grid along the meteor's surface...
SHATTER!
The Sphere of Metal erupted and countless pieces of debris shot in every direction as Luna's gaze met the full moon above with a graceful smile and welcoming eyes...
