Justin swung around the edge of the rocks, latching himself in-between two of the large cliff walls within the deeper side of the mountains.
"Jacob, we are around the Northern side now, which means down there is where the main battle is taking place... Quick, hand me that..."
Jacob reached over, handing Justin a pair specialized tools for this exact moment.
Chase had entrusted the two of them with a very important task.
Justin grinned as he held down the small lever on the cannister with one hand, and pulled back the rock pick with his other, beginning to smash the rocks at his side as he heated them up.
Justin pulled down his helmet's visor, trying his best to avoid the flying sparks and debris.
"Start marking the map down!"
He yelled over the noise of crashing and flames, instructing his assistant to start figuring out where they had to go once they were inside.
Jacob was muttering something as he started to tie his rope to the dagger he had used to keep himself held up.
Justin couldn't hear him though, which was probably for the better...
He had his own reasons for following the boy into such a death trap, which this was not it...
His task awaited him in the dungeons of Rider's Kingdom... The Kingdom of Equus...
So retaking this academy was only a mere stepping stone for Justin, who had made a deal with the devil...
He was tasked with freeing the ex-general of Rider's strongest forces, the forces of the Night, a task force specifically made for taking kingdoms out from underneath their noses.
They had singlehandedly orchestrated the downfall of Frostfang, sparking an entire war over a mere land dispute...
Rayan of House Mayhem had been at their head, although he was only following the orders of his king which he held no freedom under, he was no doubt one of the most dangerous men on the face of the earth.
And Justin had asked a favor of such a man... In order to not only save the hide of the boy of House Phoenix, but to assassinate the entirety of The House of Pice...
Justin had tasked Rayan of killing his entire clan... In exchange for a far greater price than he could have ever paid.
And now Rayan was rotting in the dungeons of the mad king, as his entire force had been put under the command of Feroth of House Seawater... The new third in command of Rider's entire army, which now included the forces of Night...
Just picked away at the rocks until he finally began to feel echo as he struck...
'Jackpot...'
He unshackled the mighty Warhammer from his catalyst, watching the blood exit from his hand, forming the powerful weapon out of strings of solid blood...
Justin hoped that Rayan would lower his payment if somehow free could free the living powerhouse from his cell...
He struck the rocks once, as the entire mountain shook from the force.
Jacob covered his head as debris crashed down on them.
Justin only grimaced, as he reached back once more.
Struck again he did, but this time the wall in front of him finally caved in...
Leading them directly into the heart of The Underbelly...
Leo of The House of Lion...
Leo swung down with powerful force, crushing directly into the skull of the soldier bearing the sigil of House Rider.
Grinning like a madman, Leo spun his axe, lobbing the head of another soldier far into the blood stenched air.
He scanned the area.
"Shit..."
His team was nowhere to be seen, but that also partially his fault.
He had once gain lost himself in the glory of battle...
It tended to always happen to the young lion cub.
He would always find himself getting overcome with fury in the heart of battle, as well as putting himself into situations where he could not be saved if the worst had come to pass.
He frowned, realizing he had killed every man inside of the once Primis Insight classroom.
Standing over the countless bodies, Leo let out a terribly annoyed sigh, as he walked toward the far back window of the room.
The windows were grand, like that of a church's mosaic...
Leo stepped up in front of it, reaching into his utility belt for a small tomahawk that had been sharpened to near perfection by the dwarf known as Ricardo.
Then he kicked the window out, as glass crashed down around him.
If he had lost himself from the team... he could at least meet back up with them in the final destination they planned to reach at the end of this battle.
Leander's once head quarters.
Leo leaped out of the window, immediately reaching out with the tomahawk as he did, letting the blade tear into the stone outer wall of the academy, and using his free hand to grab onto the large curtains of the window, using them as a rope to climb.
He refused to look down...
As below him, lie the entirety of the lands of Vallmora, and it would have been a death trap for a man unfond of heights to climb such a large structure at this much of a disadvantage.
'Nothing better to do...'
He began ascending the academy...
