Chase dashed forwards, leaping into the air as flames caressed his body, and he wore no mask as he did not need one.
In terms of raw chemistry combined with raw firepower, Chase's team was practically built for a task such as this.
Chase was the perfect soldier for large crowds, he had seen it with his own eyes before.
His flames can destroy anything around them if his temper can burn hot enough.
Michael can entirely reshape landmasses with his own scale of Primis, as his ice is nearly unbreakable when you put all of the other factors into consideration, he is the closest thing Unity has to a god.
Equan is with them, because he is the perfect support for two tanky warriors who could do damage. Not only did Equan have precision aim, but he could chain his lightning into the scale of entire armies...
Chase grinned as he descending upon the hundreds of disfigured beasts below him, Michael was somewhere behind him sprinting towards the direction of the oncoming beasts.
And Equan had already no doubt release an arrow or two already.
'Just how fast am I moving?'
He wondered before he crashed into the ground with an explosion of flames, as he turned to his left ripping his dagger into the throat of the first monster he seen.
But it didn't die...
It only snarled at Chase, as it lifted its arms to crush him.
But before it could, an arrow shot straight through the heart of the beast, shooting straight of its back, and into another monster, leaving only pure electricity in its wake...
Chase grinned, and ripped his dagger out of the monster, spinning on his heel as flames erupted on his steel sword just before it slashed straight down the middle of another beast.
He grinned wider, and behind him a large pillar of ice shot out of the ground and took several beastmen with it.
Chase laughed, and dashed towards the large group in front of him, slashing and hacking as he sprinted, letting his flames drown him and everything around him.
And at his side, countless arrows whizzed past his head and embedded themselves into each and every monster for each and every arrow.
'He just doesn't miss...'
Chase chuckled internally as he remembered that faint humming that Onyx had once created as they walked through a simple snowy town...
He laughed once more, feeling the rhythm of the beat enter his bones, then his blood, and even then his muscles...
He began to spin, duck, dash, and slash.
His blade cut through monsters like butter, and his grin never left his face as each and every beast he seen died to his flames in seconds.
"SO MUCH FUN!"
He screamed full of joy, as he finally stood face to face with one of the giant beasts.
It towered so tall that its head was above the second staircase...
Chase didn't care.
He dashed forward, sliding underneath its mighty stomp.
He turned and swung his blade into the ankle of the giant, as it let out a terrible roar, Chase couldn't free his blade from the tough flesh of the monster.
"All the better..."
He muttered, freeing his hand from the handle and letting flames emit from his glove.
He leaped, plunging his father's dagger into one of the many thigh muscles that the monster had.
He used it and launched himself higher, wrapping his legs around the throat of the monster.
"I've been wanting to try this one for a while... Luckily... You burn unlike my master..."
He felt his energy erupt within him, as flames stopped in motion around him, filling the air like lightning bugs.
Then everything stopped for a short moment...
Or a long one depending on one's perspective, for Chase, he had enough time to smile so deeply that his own bones shivered.
"Firework time..."
It all exploded...
Everything within the hall was drowned in flames, as Chase's own body became a catalyst of fire.
Luckily the flames were weaker the farther they were from him, so his friends were in no danger, sadly that also meant that they would have to defeat their own monsters on their own accord.
The giant underneath Chase; however, was no more...
Chase landed with a thud, as he picked his blades up one by one.
Ash fell from the sky like rain, and the beast's eyes in front of him, no doubt created by some terrible form of a man's madness...
They all reared back, stepping away from Chase, until they were nearly brushing against each other, with the ones in the back being crushed against the wall.
Chase looked at the ground with a sad smile.
"I can tell... You have no souls... You are just lifeless beasts... Rest now, for your existence is naught but a curse..."
Then tendrils made of flames shot from the ground underneath the monster's in front of him, ripping and tearing at every single one.
Until there was nothing left... Nothing left but ash....
