Accompanied by thunder and lightning, the forest surrounding the camp was filled with eerie shadows. The guards were more alert than ever, ready for any new attacks that might emerge from the darkness. Everyone was tending to their wounds.
"Let's finish this in one go tomorrow," said Senri.
Dawon was cleaning his sword. "We have wounded, it might not be that easy."
"Don't worry, we'll rest tonight and heal our wounds," said Captain Peter, looking at the group sitting around the fire.
Obi sat next to Asahi. "Looks like some of us will have to stay behind."
"With this leg, I'd only be a hindrance," Asahi sighed.
"My left arm isn't in great shape either," said Dawon. "But at least I can walk. You and Asahi stay here and rest until you heal."
"I'll direct the soldiers," said Klenn, trying to keep the fire alive.
"Then those staying behind will board the ship in the morning. Peter will help them and be ready to move with the crew," said Yellowbeard, scratching his beard.
