Chapter 713: Heavenly Tyrant Dharma Body vs. Blood-Robe Dharma Body
"Call you Lord Thunder Emperor? Do you dare answer if I do?"
At Mo Yu's words, Blood-Robe's expression darkened into something truly dreadful. He had never imagined this youth would dare utter such an audacious demand—did this boy really think the Blood God Clan was something to trample upon at will?
Even the assembled spectators gasped aloud, eyes wide in disbelief. Blood-Robe was one of the Blood God Clan's elders—second only to the clan leader himself. For Mo Yu to ask him to bow and address him as "Lord Thunder Emperor" was no different from striking him across the face in front of thousands.
"Oh?" Mo Yu said lightly. "Since Elder Blood-Robe shows so little sincerity, I suppose this won't end peacefully."
He smiled coldly, but inside his intent was burning. He was deliberately provoking the Blood God Clan elder—for two reasons.
First, to make the world remember his name. The Great Thousand World would soon be singing of the Thunder Emperor, the man who humbled the Blood God Clan. The news would spread fast, and with it, perhaps Xiao Yan, Cai Lin, and the others would hear of him.
Second… his hands itched.
Ever since ascending to Earth Supreme, Mo Yu had never tested the full extent of his power. This was an opportunity too perfect to resist.
Since his battle with Hun Tiandi on the Dou Qi Continent, he'd gone countless years without a true fight. Sparring with Xiao Yan had never ignited that same thrill. He could almost sense his body growing dull, his blood running still.
But now, confronted with this arrogant elder, that long-suppressed fire reignited. The same restless heart from his younger days began to stir once more.
Blood-Robe, of course, had no idea. All he saw was a lower-realm brat mocking him—mocking the might of his clan. Rage burned through him, pure and unrestrained.
"Boy, you will pay dearly for every word you've spoken!"
His twisted smile stretched into a snarl. At that moment, rank and reason no longer mattered. He would kill this youth, tear him apart, and remind the world that none desecrated the Blood God Clan in his presence.
Buzz!
With that furious shout, an explosion of blood-red energy erupted from Blood-Robe's body, forming behind him a titanic figure spanning tens of thousands of feet tall.
The phantom wore a dark crimson kasaya, steeped in reeking miasma. Runes of blood ran through it, and even the air around it corroded under its presence.
It was his Supreme Dharma Body—the Blood Kasaya Dharma Body—one of the Blood God Clan's most destructive techniques. Ranked fifty-first among the ninety-nine Supreme Dharma Bodies, it was known for its corrosive dominance over spirit energy itself.
The crimson phantom loomed over the battlefield like a god of slaughter, dyeing the heavens red.
"Draw out your Dharma Body!" Blood-Robe sneered coldly. "Let me see what kind of pitiful technique you possess!"
Mo Yu smiled faintly. "As you wish."
He raised both hands in a seal, lightning booming outward in an instant. The sky split apart as a massive humanoid figure of pure thunder appeared behind him.
Where the Blood Kasaya shone scarlet, Mo Yu's Dharma Body radiated silver and gold—a blazing Heavenly Tyrant Dharma Body, born of the Heavenly Tyrant Thunder Physique.
The giant stood only a few hundred feet tall—tiny compared to the towering crimson giant across from it—but every inch of its body pulsed with devastating arcs of lightning that carried a sense of annihilation.
The audience murmured uneasily. The difference in size alone was shocking. Normally, a larger Dharma Body implied greater energy control and output—surely Blood-Robe's immense form would dominate?
Blood-Robe appeared atop his own Dharma Body's shoulder, looking down upon Mo Yu's with contempt.
"So this is the mighty form of an Earth Supreme from the lower realms?" he said with a cold chuckle. "Pathetic. Even Ninth-Grade Supremes have larger Dharmic projections."
Few in the world knew the truth—that the Heavenly Tyrant Body was beyond the ninety-nine official rankings precisely because none could measure its destructive potential.
Mo Yu said nothing. He merely hovered onto the shoulder of his thunderous giant, his gaze serene. "Enough talk. Make your move."
His indifference only fueled Blood-Robe's fury. It had been centuries since anyone looked at him with such disdain.
"I'll wipe that arrogance from your face!" Blood-Robe hissed.
He clasped his hands and opened his mouth, releasing a roar like a howling river. From within, torrents of blood surged outward, spreading into a vast crimson sea that churned beneath the sky.
The liquid surface boiled and frothed, filled with bones and wailing shades that gave the space around it a frigid, oppressive chill.
"This is the River of Blooded Netherworlds!"
Many of the onlookers gasped. They knew it by reputation—one of the Blood God Clan's deadliest divine techniques, born of countless slaughtered souls. The blood within it carried corrosive energy capable of devouring Dharma Bodies whole.
Blood-Robe thrust his hands forward, sending the roaring sea surging toward Mo Yu.
The Yuchang Family's faces turned pale. They knew that if Mo Yu did not understand the spell's nature, he might suffer immediate loss. After all, this move had slain countless Earth Supremes in the past.
"Ha! Arrogant fool!" Blood-Robe laughed darkly as the tidal wave engulfed Mo Yu and his Dharma Body completely. "This will teach you what despair looks like!"
The Blood Sea of the Netherworld boiled violently, its bubbling tides devouring everything within. Yet as moments passed, a flicker of doubt touched Blood-Robe's face.
The energy beneath the crimson waves was… shifting. The sea's power was weakening, draining away.
"What—what is this?"
He frowned, hastily drawing on his spirit energy to call the sea back—but before he could do so, flashes of silver light tore through the red mist.
Thunder.
He felt it immediately—a storm of lightning bursting within his own spell. Bolts of pure destruction pulsed from deep inside, shredding his carefully cultivated blood sea apart.
Within seconds, the boundless ocean was shrinking rapidly, vaporized by energy too fierce to contain.
When the last crimson wave faded, Mo Yu stood revealed once more—calmly perched on the shoulder of his Heavenly Tyrant Body. A faint smirk graced his lips.
Beneath him, the giant's mouth opened, releasing another deafening clap of thunder. Streams of energy converged toward it, condensing into a single sphere of blinding light—a lightning pearl glowing with apocalyptic might.
The moment it formed, the air itself twisted around it.
Blood-Robe, sensing the energy gathering within it, turned pale. His instincts screamed of doom.
The pearl vanished.
It reappeared in front of him.
And then—
Boom!
The sky exploded.
The lightning pearl detonated into a tidal wave of thunder, sweeping across the golden platform in a storm of pure annihilation.
Blood-Robe howled, summoning the blood from his Dharma Body and forming crimson barriers to resist the onslaught.
Crack! Crack!
The thunder struck, consuming layer after layer of his defenses until the crystalline barriers melted like wax. In the next instant, the entire Blood Kasaya Body was caught by the raging current.
Screams sliced through the sky as arcs of lightning coursed through the towering red giant, its radiance fading rapidly. When the storm finally broke, its body was covered in burned scars and crackling thunder marks.
Hovering over the wreckage, Blood-Robe staggered, pale and breathless, the once-mighty elder now battered and humiliated.
The crowd erupted into stunned silence. None had anticipated this outcome.
The Blood God Clan's famed elder—an Earth Supreme—had been utterly crushed.
And the name of Thunder Emperor Mo Yu would now echo through every corner of the Great Thousand World.
