The Grand Spire's interior was unlike anything I had seen before—a dizzying maze of floating staircases, luminescent glyphs, and towering shelves filled with books that seemed to hum with latent power. The air itself felt alive, pulsing faintly with an ancient energy that made my skin tingle. It was as if the entire structure was a living organism, watching, waiting.

Karina crept beside me, her movements graceful but taut with tension. "Do you have any idea where we're going?" she whispered, her voice barely audible above the faint buzz of magic.

"Not exactly," I admitted, glancing at the glyph fragment in my satchel. Its faint pulse seemed to guide me deeper into the Spire, as if it were drawn to something—or someone. "But this thing seems to have a sense of direction. We'll let it lead."

"Convenient," Karina muttered, but she followed without argument.
