The sun rays peek through the curtains. Avery stared in her sleep. A strong arm wrapped around her tiny body. She smiled and brushed the hair from Alex's face.
"Good morning," she murmured.
Alex groaned and buried his face in her neck. He pecked her neck and sucked the skin. A moan escaped her lips as she pulled away from him.
"It's still early, Alexander." Avery scolded.
Alex chuckled at her. "It's never too early or too late to eat you up."
Avery widened her eyes at him. Her cheeks flushed. She cleared her throat at him and got out of bed. She pulled the duvet away from Alex. Her breathing paused for a moment. She forgot that she was also naked. Her eyes lingered on his body before travelling to the V-line below. She snapped out of her thoughts with Alex's remark.
"Like what you see, baby." She huffed at him and turned her back on him as she headed to the en-suite bathroom.

The dining room was lively as laughter and chatting filled the place. The sound of heels and shoes clicking on the marble floor seized the noise. Everyone turned their gaze to the entrance of the door.
"Umm, good morning?" Erica greeted awkwardly.
"Well, look who decided to show up. After ditching us last night." Suzzy said.
Erica cleared her throat. She opened her mouth but stopped when her fingers were squeezed by a certain someone. Stefan gestured towards the table and pulled a chair for her. She mouthed her gratitude.
"So, Erica? How was your night?" Avery asked as she spread jam on her toast.
"It's none of your business, Avery."
Avery scoffed at her. She scrutinised her eyes, but footsteps stopped her from attacking her friend.
"Sorry for the disturbance." A man said.
Heads turned to the door.
"And you are?" Avery asked with her head tilted sideways.
"Babe, this is the gardener, Ben." Alex introduced him.
Avery nodded her head at him. She turned her head towards the entrance. Where Ben came from.
It was that feeling again. The feeling that someone was watching her. It started in her room. She thought she was being paranoid, but she felt it again. That made her stir in her sleep.
She shrugged her shoulders. She was being paranoid for thinking that way. After all, this was private property, and she had selected the current maids before coming here. She convinced herself that she was just tired.
