The movement speed through the air wasn't as quick as the pure speed of the body flicker jutsu, however because there was no need to take detours or to remain on guard and the fact that they could simply head in a straight line directly towards their destination, the overall speed of travel was much faster than travel on the land.
What would have taken approximately two days of travel whilst maintaining a high intensity usage of the body flicker jutsu was shortened to a mere ten hours.
Looking down bellow at the ground, Ayame's heart which had slowly been gaining in rhythm started beating even more, excitement clouding her mind for a moment as she took a deep breath, finally she was at the place where her curse would be removed.
Kazuo moved her and himself towards the ground slowly before the two landed and headed inside a cave at the face of a jagged stone mountain.
Once inside, his hands became blurry as he performed a dozen hand seals in an instant, opening the seals that guarded the gateway to the hidden base. A mere few seconds later, what had been a dead end in the cave slowly cleared as if the illusion had never been there, and a small cut out path stood before him and Ayame.
Walking down the path together with the Hyuga member, they passed a dozens of rooms, each of them dark without a single light inside and headed to the deepest part of the hidden base, inside a large chamber room completely lit up with white fluorescent lights.
"Welcome, I hope you don't mind however I'd like to atleast get a look at the seal as soon as possible and then I'll let you head to a room to get some sleep and food." Kazuo said with a soft warm smile at the woman as he motioned to a medical chair in the middle of the chamber that was filled with dozens upon dozens of different kinds of medical equipment.
Ayame nodded as she walked towards the chair, sat down, leaning her back onto it and then removed her headband, putting the green cursed seal on clear view.
"Hum… so thats the cursed seal huh… it does look quite complicated however it's also a seal that was made quite a long time ago, and any modifications that were done after the first variant which was designed by the Uzumaki, were done by the Hyuga Clan… meaning it shouldn't be too hard to simply break the parts that contain the control aspect of the seal." Kazuo said with a soft thoughtful hum as he walked to her and leaned down to get a closer look at the seal.
"Alright, I'll be doing a few experiments, I'll have to sedate you so that if any pain does happen, you won't feel it. Is that alright?" Kazuo asked with a soft warm voice, seemingly caring to not want to hurt the female ninja at all.
"Alright." Ayame muttered as she gave a nod of her head. She had already come all this way, and at the same time, the hyuga knew that if Kazuo had wanted to do something to her she would have already been dead by first moment she had met him in the forest.
At that moment, Kazuo gave a slow nod of his head, his soft smile seeming to grow even warmer as he brought out a small injecting needle and slowly pierced the vein in her neck and injected the anesthetic into her body.
For a few moments nothing happened, before slowly but surely, Ayame's eyes started to close until she was fully unconscious.
What Ayame Hyuga didn't know, was that for her, this would feel like sleeping and waking up in an instant two days later. For the entire world, it would similarly only be a brief amount of time, merely two days which didnt hold any real meaning. However if someone were to be able to sense Kazuo's usage of the time loop.
This mere two days would quickly start to sound closer to two years.
Looking down at the unconscious shinobi, Kazuos warm smile vanished off his face as if it had never been there in the first place.
"Good, there was no need to use force, meaning the quality of the test subject is at a clean perfect condition. She's relaxed, unresponsive and even willing. Though im quite surprised that the charisma stat worked this well, I merely asked her if i could sedate her so she wouldnt feel the pain and she agreed, any shinobi worth their salt would have instnantly disagreed and said that they could bear the pain, they would have chosen to stay awake even if it was harrowing, and yet she agreed almost instantly. Hum… thats good." Kazuo mussed to himself before his body slowly started to get deconstructed into hundreds of paper sheets.
This Kazuo had merely been a paper clone afterall. At that moment, footsteps were heard coming closer, after a few seconds, a figure entered into the room and walked towards the unconscious Ayame on the chair.
"Good, it seems like the clone did its job. Time to get started then, on figuring this seal out. This should be helpful… especially the seal itself, It'll be a good addition to my arsenal considering my plan on creating my own organisation. It would effectively lower the amount of traitors to a zero." The real Kazuo who had finally arrived spoke, his tone flat as he raised his hands and made a simple hand seal.
Creating a dozen shadow clones around him before motioning for them to get started on inspecting the seal whilst he himself walked to the side and sat down in a meditative position, this would lower the impact the knowledge gained from the shadow clones would have on his mind.
