The clones instantly gathered around the unconscious body of Ayame and half of them brought forwards paper sheets created with paper style and started transcribing the seal onto it whilst the other half were only looking at the seal on the womans forehead closely as they tried to understand the seal more closely.
The seal itself was small however that was only because it was concentrated and most of the details on it were combined together, ending up in this final appearance, the lines of the seals were actually most likely in the hundreds yet only less than ten were visible to the naked eye.
The first challange infront of Kazuo now was to find a way to unlock the seal so that it would show all of its details, the path to finding a way to break it wasn't even in sight yet, let alone learning to replicate it.
Meanwhile on the other side of the world, a paper sheet inside Saori Hyuga's room crumbled, letting her know that he had indeed gotten the test subject safely and soundly.
The woman merely looked at it for a moment before taking it out from the small container it had been in and using a small amount of fire nature chakra to incinerate it, leaving no proof behind.
That was the start of the two days.
After around two hours, Kazuo made his first attempt at the seal, bringing his hand forward to her forehead and making a few hand seals before pressing his chakra infused fingers onto it, for a moment, the seal didnt react at all and then it started to glow a sickly green colour before two lines of blood tears came out of the womans eyes. Her byakugan had been destroyed as the seal had sensed interference and thus had activated its fail safe.
Looking down at the now blind woman, Kazuo released a soft sigh of annoyance before he popped himself.
The real Kazuo who had been in meditation instantly felt all the shadow clones breaking into puffs of smoke as the chakra rushed back into his body together with the information gathered.
Similar tears of blood ran down his eyes and blood even came out of his nose as his brain was overwhelmed from the stress, causing internal bleeding to occur almost instantly after the information had been slammed into his mind.
'Thankfully I have a high enough endurance…' Kazuo thought to himself before he sent even more chakra directly into his brain, instantly exploding it from the inside and causing his own death as his body slumped forward onto the ground.
The world turning black and white once more before reverting itself to the start.
Kazuo had been experimenting with his timeloop ability for years now, he could atleast have a vague understanding on when the timeloop would send him to and on what point in time it was attached to at the current moment.
Opening his eyes, Kazuo found himself in a meditative position once more, Ayame already unconscious on the medical chair and already a dozen shadow clones summoned by him looking at the woman, getting ready to start the examination.
'Unfortunate.' Kazuo thought to himself as he released his shadow clones once more and then created another set, because these shadow clones had yet to gather much information, the load on his brain was negligible and thus he could simply create another pair.
The unfortunate part was the fact that these shadow clones that had already been created were created with the memories of the Kazuo before the time loop started and thus wouldnt have the extra information that he had gathered during the previous loop, thus making it that he had to resummon them once more after each time loop ended.
Hours passed into a day and a half, before another time loop was used as the test subject was killed by the seal once more.
This process repeated itself over and over for a long time. Some time loops were short, some took almost the entirety of the two days.
Finally after the 18th time loop, Kazuo achieved his first breakthrough with his experimentation on the Hyuga Seal.
Kazuo's shadow clone had finally managed to find a weak point into the seal and thus had been able to use it as a gateway into accessing the rest of the seal that was hidden from sight.
For a moment the green forehead seal hadn't reacted at all, that was only for a brief moment however as in the very next second, it started to expand as hundreds of other green ink lines spread all over the womans face and throughout her body.
'This is going to be hard… simply because the canvas is a human body. Not hard… just annoying.' Kazuo's shadow clone thought as he quickly motioned for the rest of the shadow clones to undress Ayame before he started examining the expanded seal in detail.
'It seems to be made of three core parts. And its clear which part was added by the Hyuga clan.' Kazuo thought as he looked at the seal.
Two of its parts were made in what looked like a simple way, however in sealing language that either meant the sealmaster had been a beginner or someone extremely knowledgeable.
The more complex a seal was, the more openings it could have for failures and mistakes or weak points, and the simpler it was, it would theoretically lower the amount of weak points.
The two simple parts of the seal were the left are that was centered around the chakra signature in the stomach of the shinobi, which was a sensing seal, that then transferred the detected signature of when a shinobi died to another part of the seal centered around the forehead and eyes which would cause the destruction of the Byakugan. And the final part of the seal was completely centered on the forehead and around the back of the neck, it was much more complicated looking and it clearly was the part that allowed for a switch that could be used with a specific jutsu, a sort of fail safe to kill the person or cause them immense mental strain.
'Thats it.' Kazuo thought inwardly as a smile appeared on his face.
