Suddenly, the silence was broken by the appearance of a strange white creature emerging from the wall. The creature's voice sounded cheerful, but it brought bad news that quickly seeped into Obito's heart.
"When I went outside, I saw Rin and that stupid Kakashi you mentioned in danger!"
Obito's eyes widened instantly. His weak body responded to those words with uncontrollable shock. He quickly sat up on the bed, breathing heavily.
"What happened?! Tell me!" Obito shouted, his voice now filled with panic.
"They're alone, surrounded by Shinobi from the Village of Kirigakure!" the white creature replied without much preamble.
Obito felt his heart nearly stop. Bad thoughts flooded his mind. Rin… Kakashi… They were in danger, and Obito was not there to help them!
