"You've started to use the Gedo Mazo power connected to you... Not bad," said the white creature still attached to the wall, its voice flat yet slightly intrigued.
Seeing his path now open, the strange spiral creature covering Obito's body said lightly, "I am a good and calm person, right?"
Then, part of the spiral creature's face opened, revealing the face of the boy inside. With determination, Obito nodded. "Okay!"
At that moment, a heavy voice came from the corner of the room.
"Are you going to leave...?"
The voice was calm yet authoritative. An old man who had been in the room all along slowly opened his eyes. It was Madara Uchiha.
Obito turned to look at Madara for a moment before firmly severing the connection between the spiral white creature and the Gedo Mazo statue.
"Thank you for saving me," Obito said, his voice flat but still showing a clear sense of respect. "But I have to go now."
