Ikem gave her a blank stare, wordless.
He dismissed her conclusion, but he chose not to voice it out.
It just didn't fit.
This was factored by two reasons.
The first being the earlier conversation with the Shark Man: without that, he would probably be thinking the same way as Kanima.
And the second was the unearthly feeling he would have in his gut, the one that led him come to conclusions that were seemingly correct.
That was not all though,
To debunk Kanima's deduction meant having one that sounded even more plausible.
Therefore Ikem had reached a conclusion of his own:
The primary reason the Camp had sent them here; had to do with meeting the 'Father' of the shark men.
