Heidi scoffed, "No shit."
I looked at them, "Here's what I told them. I told them that was completely insulting," that brought a smile to each of the girl's as I continued, "I told them that I wanted to see $25,000 a month. Your videos are yours. And if you each are over 500,000 followers the option to appear in any video was your choice not a demand."
That made each girl smile. Then I continued, "What I wasn't expecting was another person listening and they renegotiated on the spot. They countered with $75,000 a year, your current content is yours but all future content is theirs, plus three videos a year. Seeing how that is a little better than the previous insult I told them I would talk to you first before I contacted them back."
The girl's were silent for a moment.
Georgina was the first to speak, "How long do we have to agree?"
I looked at her, "Maybe another 20 hours."
That made them silent.
I looked at them, "If you want I can step away and let you all talk about it."
Kel was the first to speak, "What do you think we should do?"
All of them nodded as they looked at me.
Shit I didn't want to be put on the spot.
I sighed, "For you Kel honestly the offer is a joke." I looked at each girl, "But for you eight I don't know what your monthly or yearly income is so doing this I can't tell you yes or no. What I can say is this. The offer though menial might be enough to live on but frankly it is a joke. With their stipulations that they want tells me volumes of what they want."
Kumi spoke, "And that is?"
I looked at Kumi, "Money plain and simple. They see potential in each of you or they wouldn't have called you in. They see money they think they can exploit from you and only give you pennies in return."
Each of the girl's were silent.
Felicity softly spoke, "Is that what you truly think?"
I looked at her and shrugged, "Like I said it makes sense. I haven't seen your channels so I don't know what each of you are capable of."
I pointed my chin to Bonnie, "How many followers do you have?"
Bonnie blushed but spoke softly, "About 10,000 or so."
I continued, "And on average how much money do you make?"
Bonnie spoke softly, "About $2000 every two weeks."
I pointed to Kumi, "You?"
Kumi looked at me, "About 15 or 20,000 followers and about $3000 a month."
I pointed to Georgina. Georgina meekly spoke, "I get about $3000 every two weeks."
Felicity spoke, "I get about $5000 a month."
Josephine, "Same."
Anita spoke, "I'm getting about 7k a month."
The lesser looked at Anita and she blushed, "I may do some live shows at the Arcade to supplement that."
I pointed my chin to Jaime, "We so far have averaged about 20k a month."
That got the girl's attention as they looked at Jaime and Heidi.
I spoke to cut them off, "That's what I'm talking about. You all are averaging about forty to sixty thousand a year and you're still amateurs. I'm betting if you each upped your game you could each double if not triple those numbers if not more. So the whole they want your videos shows that potential and you all give up potential income making you dependent on their hand out for your own hard worked videos."
Kumi looked at me, "So are you saying we should take the money?"
I shook my head, "No I'm saying we should ask for more if they really want your videos."
Bonnie spoke, "And what about us appearing in their videos."
Anita spoke, "Yeah I'm not near 500,000 followers."
Heidi spoke, "I am."
Jaime quickly added, "So am I."
The girl's looked at Heidi and Jaime.
I spoke, "Whatever. Even if you were, would you all want to do that?"
There was a light murmuring of no's.
I spoke, "Either way. You've heard their offer. What do you want me to do? Do I tell them to pound sand and lay out terms that are more reasonable? Or do you want me to wipe their contract in my ass and lay it in front of them?"

Morgan Guzman showed up on my screen and quickly spoke, "Ah Gabriel Newman we were just talking about you."
I raised my eyebrow at him, "Who's we?"
Morgan waved his hand, "So did you talk to your clients?"
I nodded seeing how I was on video, "I did."
Morgan looked at me, "And?"
I smiled, "No deal."
I heard off screen the same female voice from earlier, "Ha! I won."
Morgan sighed, "Of course."
The female spoke, "What do they want?"
I smiled, "Triple your offer. Their content is theirs you only get the redirect and they choose to come in for a movie shoot at their choice."
It was quiet for a moment before Morgan spoke, "You want us to pay over $200,000 to each of these amateur's without getting anything in return?"
I nodded, "That's right."
The female off screen spoke, "I can't authorize that."
I spoke, "What can you authorize?"
The female spoke, "$100,000 max but we need something to guarantee getting our money back hence why we want their content and two maybe have each girl in one of our movie's."
I laughed, "That's not enough. You're wanting to pay my clients pennies on the dollar for their content that they work so diligently to create."
Morgan spoke, "It's a lot more than they're making now."
