Unlike Authority, which represents total and limitless control over a concept or element (molded entirely by the user's imagination and intent), Soul Magic has structure. It is not a force of pure will. It cannot simply do anything the user wants.
Instead, Soul Magic operates within a defined set of principles and boundaries.
It is malleable—meaning Alex can create new variations or techniques within its scope—but it must still obey the inherent logic of spiritual and soul-related influence. It is a tool of balance, connection, and healing—even if capable of raw destruction.
Alex cannot just "imagine" something outside of Soul Magic's nature and make it happen—he must work within its spiritual range, develop techniques through practice, and refine new uses over time.
That said, Soul Magic is still powerful—and incredibly rare.
"Hm. I guess I can still develop what I need… soul healing, cleansing, maybe soul shock and other such techniques. Well, I do have a lot of comics, manga, and similar knowledge." Alex nodded, then moved on to the sub-skills he had unlocked.

Provides extremely high resistance to mental attacks. Mind control, illusions, psychic damage, or spirit-reading techniques have drastically reduced effect on him.
Soul Anchoring:
Makes Alex's soul unshakable. It cannot be possessed, shattered, displaced, or stolen. Additionally, he can use this on others.
"Great… with these new powers, it's like I've leveled up to the next rank," Alex mumbled as he stood, a soft smile forming.
He quietly exited his chamber. Behind him, Zephyra and Cypher were sleeping peacefully, both wearing satisfied smiles. He left the clinic area and made his way back to the apartment.
In the spacious hall, Colleen, Sue, and Maria were gathered, chatting casually. They looked up as he entered.
"It seems you've become more powerful," Colleen said with a knowing smile.
Alex chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah… had a bit of a breakthrough."
He didn't want to go into details just yet, so he simply asked, "So… what's for dinner?"
They all laughed and sat down to eat together, a warm and relaxed mood settling over the group. As the evening winded down, Alex looked at the three of them seriously.
"By the way… I can share some of my powers now. Do you want it?" he asked.
Their eyes lit up immediately as they all jumped toward him with enthusiastic nods and eager voices.
"Of course!" they said in unison.
Smiling, Alex began the process. One by one, he shared the Light Authority, which in their case manifested as Greater Light Manipulation—a refined ability that allowed them to shape and bend light.
"This feels… so beautiful," Colleen whispered in awe as she let the light swirl between her hands, trying to mold it into a small barrier—but it just flickered and vanished.
"You'll need practice," Alex said gently, and they all nodded in understanding.
When it came to Maria, Alex took a deep breath and smiled quietly. Finally… the ticking time bomb is defused, he thought in relief.
Along with the light manipulation, he silently extended Soul Anchoring to each of them. For Colleen and Sue, it formed an invisible protective layer around their souls—subtle, but effective.
But in Maria's case, the effect was far greater.
The corrosive energy that had long been lurking inside her soul—the dangerous, hidden curse—was completely snuffed out. The source of the soul corruption was gone. What had once been a dormant time bomb was now nothing more than a memory.
Her soul was finally safe.
