After what felt like an endless round of relentless questions about who Kouhei was actually dating, he and the others finally managed to leave the school and make their way home together. His classmates had been surprisingly persistent, throwing one question after another without giving him much room to breathe. By the time they escaped, Kouhei honestly felt like he had survived an interrogation instead of a normal school day. He felt like a used dishrag, to be honest. At least nobody had pulled out a lie detector. That probably would've made things even more awkward.
